Longish cycles

Postby dubsyd » Sat Apr 12, 2008 12:47 am

I seem to ovulate around CD20, although my cycles are not particularly regular. Just wondering when everyone else tends to ovulate. I wish I ovulated earlier.

I ovulate anywhere between 18 and 23 days... I put my vote for 18-20 though because I would say that is the most typical.

I usually O between CD12-14, but I have also O'ed as laste as CD18. It's funny because out of all the people on here that I know who got PG (which is a lot, LOL), most of them O'ed CD18 or later, and I know some that O'ed way late, like CD50's-70's, and still got PG and have babies.

every month is different for me but the majority of the time it's anywhere from 15-19, this cycle was cd11 and i've even had it early as cd 10 so it fluctuates so much i wish it would stay consistant

Thanks for the replies.

I actually just started vitex this cycle. Not sure how it is working for me so far. I know it is slow acting. I am on CD16 and no signs of ovulation yet. But I am hoping it will help with my menstrual symptoms as well. Although if I would just get my bfp already I wouldnt have to worry about that for 9 months ;)

I am glad to hear the bfps are coming in with later ovulation. I guess I just get impatient having about a 20 day wait from AF arriving. It would be a bit less dishearting when AF arrived if there were less days to wait. But then they estimate only about 10% of women have the 'average' 28 day cycle. And when I am not ttc, I appreciate more time between.

I hope you all get your bfps this month :)

kranken, I am like you, when I am on unmedicated/monitored cycles, my O was around the 16-21 day mark and had been as late as 24 days, but I have been a 28 day cycle girl for years. I was diagnosed with lpd when I started seeing my RE back is October.

i have been Oing very very late.. i am hypo and i found out my thyroid is not exactly where it needs to be to be my most fertile.. the dr. upped my thyroid meds and this cycle I Od four days early!! cd21 instead of cd26...

if you all are Oing late have your thyroid checked, its a simple blood test and could have saved me a year ttc!!
