How long is your LP usually?

Postby imdesired » Fri Apr 25, 2008 9:12 am

Just wondering how long your usual LP is.

I'm scared my last m/c was due to the fact my LP at the time was about 10 days, and just wanted to compare.

Also, is there anything that can be done to make it longer, besides clomid?

Thanks!

Mine is not very consistent either.... it's ranged between 11 and 15 days, though most often seems to be 12-13days.

My LP ranges from 12-14 days, but is usually 13. Try taking some Vitamin B6. It helps with your LP.

I'm taking GNC women's ultra mega, which has 50mg's of b-6. is that a good amount? Or should there be more?

One thing I did notice, is my cycle was 3 days longer last month (it's always been very much on time)
But as of today, I don't think I've O'd yet (I've been BBT'ing)

It's just the time from you ovulate, until the time AF comes. Basically the tww! lol
But, I hear ya on understanding things like how long, why it changes, and all that. Such a pita!

I have tried 12-15 days. Usually 13-14 days.

According to "Taking Charge of Your Fertility", less than 10 days is considered short. And less than 12 days of LP can be "potentially problematic if a couple is trying to get pregnant". If you spot, it is considered normal if spot after 10 days post ovulation.

Also, if take Vit B6, it's suggested that one take 200-500 milligrams. But we should ask a nutritionist first.
