How do you know if 2-3 is too many for you?

Postby peaches118 » Sun Apr 10, 2011 12:50 pm

We are pretty young (27-28) and have a 5 year old and a 15 month old. I thought I would be done...at least for a while. Enjoy my body and have fun in life. I also can't shake that feeling of wanting another..not feeling complete...missing being pregnant. I'm having a hard time deciding if I really do want another one, right now. I am off the pill now and I have tried the soy this month to boost O. So, I have to make my decision quick. lol My problem is that I know everyone around us will tell us and think that we are completely crazy....I don't want people to think that...but then why should I care what other people think??

I know this is like a month late but im new to this.. But my advice is it really shouldnt matter to others. My parents had 3 children, we are all 5 years apart and we have all done just fine.. Im right in the middle.. I always wanted 3 kids. Go for it. Have them if you want to and can, cuz some people cant! :D

Thanks for the replies ladies. Now it's more of afraid of how we will handle all three. Sometimes 2 is a bit much and we seem to have a nice routine and calmness at times. I don't really want to ruin that. On the other hand it would be really nice to add another addition to the family. I'm kinda confused. lol

You shouldn't care what people think. I think if you have a 3rd child you will do just fine and you won't regret it. My family has plenty to say about my family size and I don't care what they think. They do not have to raise my kids. For me it was hard going from 1-2 children.

I agree who cares what people think! I too found going from 1-2 the hardest. Now that I have four kids it feels easy and right. Still [planning on adding one more ;).. I just know the criticism we will receive. So we just wont tell unless it comes up or when it becomes blatantly obvious :).

Go for it. If it feels right!

I have 3 and I am 31. Of course all mine are DD's!! So I would love to have a DS. So I will keep trying :-) Don't worry about what other people think. If we lived that way we would never get anything accomplished or have our own hopes and dreams. Think of all the wonderful family dinners and awesome school accomplishments and activities and all the love and support a large family gives! It's wonderful and truly a blessing!

I am in the exact same boat.. I have a girl and a boy my son is just 5 months but I am already thinking about number 3 but no my family will call us crazy. I am currently living in a 2 bedroom house so I am not going to ttc until I build my house in about 2 years.. but if you don't feel complete don't let anyone tell you that you should
