Nothing new here .... you and me are on the same schedule ..... AF due on Thanksgiving .... had the sniffles yesterday, today is ok, a little headache, thought I might be coming down with a cold, my friend said maybe it's because I am PG! Hope so, that's better news than a cold!

Mommyfor#2, you should have O'd by now. Did you get any BDing in? Did you wait a couple days to BD to save those swimmers so that they get in closer to O time?

getting some spotting and cramping .... looks like AF will be here soon ... darn it, so bummed, really thought this was the month since we'd relaxed about the whole thing .... don't know why its taking so long ... and DH won't go to a fertility specialist, he says if it's not happening its not meant to be and we shouldn't force it .... maybe I should get better Ovulation tests and see where it takes us.

Hey everyone! was wondering what the updates were. I haven't checked on in a while since we found out about the infertility issues so i'm sure i'm behind.
BKB did AF show?
I was suppose to start today but I haven't yet. I'm not feeling any cramps or anything but I also don't feel any baby symptoms either. Even though DH and I had plenty of alone time this month I'm not very hopeful for the BFP this time. We will just have to see how it goes. I can't let myself test because I'd rather just wait it out than to test and get that heartbreaking neg.
On another note a good friend of ours just announced she is pregnant after being told she wouldn't conceive on her own. So that gives me hope that it can still happen in God's time.

Yes, AF came the day before Thanksgiving. I am on CD10 now and we had a BD in the morning before I went to work, so we are doing well on the every other day plan. Trying out SMEP this month, except not doing the OPKs. My CM is a pretty good indicator of when I O. If nothing happens this month, I will start losing weight and then maybe take FertileCM and Preseed and see if it helps.

Oh that is wonderful for your friend! Awesome news …. Don’t give up hope! Docs told my Mom she would not have any more kids after she had my 2 sisters and then an ectopic, but God had another plans for her and here came along me and then my brother. They’ve called us the miracle babies.

I have actually never heard of it before but of course I have now googled it and know the basics of it. Sounds like it could be a good option to try. Not too much different from what a lot of us try on our own anyway.
I'm still waiting to see if AF will make her appearance or not. I should've started on CD 30 and I'm now CD 34 but that doesn't mean a BFP is on the way. My cycles can vary a little from month to month. I'm crossing my fingers though. We would love to give the Christmas gift of news of a new grandchild to all of the grandparents. If AF doesn't show tomorrow I will start testing.

Mommy2be - thinking good thoughts for you and hope AF stays away for good! Hope you get your BFP. A girl on another forum was just waiting for her AF to start and was planning on trying something different next month, but instead of AF she got a BFP! There are 3 of us on that forum that have DS's and trying for our 2nd. One of them got it 2 months ago, now the other this weekend, and now just me left! I really hope to join the crowd!

CD13. Got a BD in CD10 and 11. Now going for it tonight after 2.5 days, so hoping DH will have lots of good strong healthy swimmers! Not doing OPK's but checked CM and it's a little watery today so I think I am going to O soon. Will try and get a BD every day for 3 days straight, take one day off and then go back to every other day. That's as close to SMEP as I will get!

There are a couple others in there that are still waiting for a BFP, so I am not alone .... but they are trying for their first child and I am trying for my 2nd so I feel more connected to the ladies that are now PG with their 2nd since all 3 of us have boys around the same age.

No BD last night. Oh well, it's CD14 today, so I am close to O time so tonight's BD will be even better than having one last night. I usually O CD15/16 anyways. CM is not as watery as it should be so my fertile time is still to come ....

BKB I hope you get your BFP soon so you can join the other ladies in that journey. AF decided to show for me 1 day short of a week late. I just knew I had it this time but mother nature is just cruel sometimes I guess. I'm actually ok with it this month though. That's not saying I wasn't disappointed when AF showed her ugly face but for some reason I was also able to just accept the results and move on with the next cycle. so hopeful for all of us this time around!

BKB273: I'd like to join up too. Been reading through the thread. I'm trying for #2 as well, and have been for a while. I know we are all going through issues getting pregnant, but there are some days when I feel guilty complaining when I know there are women on here who haven't ever been able to have a child. My own SIL and my cousin are going through infertility, but I have a difficult time discussing it with them because they don't have any children and I fell horrible complaining about my own problems. Do you ever feel that way?

Aw Mommyfor2, sorry about AF, but you’ve got a great attitude. Don’t lose hope!

CD20 today …. I have had a lot of watery CM this month, and much later than usual, so I wonder if I O’d later this month, still had wet CM yesterday … well managed to BD 7 times in the last 9 days, so hoping something will happen this month!

Welcome Kenny’sMama! Yes I totally feel that way too! A friend and I are both trying to get pregnant but it’s her first so sometimes I feel bad, since I already have one. My DH also says not to dwell too much on getting PG, that we should be happy with our DS because some people don’t even have one. I tell him I know that, and I am so grateful for DS coming into our life, but it’s not wrong to want another!

Mommyfor#2: Sorry to hear about AF. She tortures me every month too. Hopefully next month will be your time!
BKB - Glad to know I'm not alone! It's funny because after DS, who was so hard as a baby, (colickly, up every two hours until 1.5yrs old, etc) I wasn't sure if I wanted more kids right away. I was 19 when he was born, and just don't know how prepared I was, mentally. My hubby wanted more kids immediately, and has this entire time. I knew I wanted more (lots more!), but it took me a couple of years to come round to being ready for more then, low-and-behold, it wouldn't happen! Lol. Go figure. I definitely want more kids, no matter what, so we've started looking into the adoption process in our state. Even though we agreed to start the process, and have taken the first steps, I can't seem to give up hope that one day I will get another little one biologically, too. You know, plus all the ones we adopt! :D
