Welcome kennysmama! I also waited for a few years after DD was born before trying again. Now we are having problems with infertility. Who knew it would be so hard the second time around?
I'm on CD 8 now so still early and starting all over for this month. haven't O'd yet but I'm looking for it any day now. positive thinking!
Good luck bkb!

(hubby was w/o work for 4 yrs that's why we waited so long) How do you keep the stress down? :?

I'm 27, and my first baby is just like yours, she was unexpected. It's been awhile since my last pregnancy and now I am on TTC plan but seems to hard to believe that I can still have a baby after TTC of 6-7months max. It's maybe stress. I don't know. who knows whats going on with our body. It's even more stressful to face the pressure of TTC and get so many disappointments. you're not alone. That's the reason why I join this forum to get some ideas, helps and can relate with so many women and mother like I am.

How are all you ladies doing today?
Delyngail: so sorry you're stressed! It's good that you have a plan! I will say that 6-7 months in normal, though I know each month is so frustrating and difficult when you're living them!
BKB273: Sorry I didn't respond...didn't know how to look up posts I had participated in at the time. :D We've been NTNP for a little over six years, and actively TTC off and on for the past 4+ (maybe 5? not sure). It's funny, though. In all that time I never thought to look up a social forum like this one. I just signed up in the last few months and it helps so much to have so many other women to talk to!!

Wow almost a month since our last post!

So AF came late, a couple days after Xmas …. And we decided to skip a couple months, I am trying to lose some weight, and get all my vitamins in daily, and also go on vacation in February. Have a family wedding in April too so I want to look good for that, so in April/May is when we’ll start TTC again. I really think if I can lose 20-25lbs it will help us get pregnant. I have lost 8lbs already since Jan 5th. Also I have relaxed a bit more. I was so obsessed and stressed out with TTC for #2 and now I am like, it’ll happen when the time is right and if it does not, then I am more than happy with my DS, he is my life. I just have to remember, some people don’t get to have even one child (like one of DH’s cousins married 7 years and now 40 yrs old), so it’s a blessing to have him.

I am with you BK on that one. That sounds like where we are. Just lost the magical 8 lbs but need yo lose over 20 to have a better shot at TTC for us. DS just turned 5 on the 12th and I have a wedding to go to in mid February and then in April as well. A bridesmaid in both non the less...... :-(
Need to look good in both lol. I wish it would just fall off like butter.

Ya I had lost 13 lbs so far but made a bad decision and had spaghetti last night with some bread. This resulted in a 2 lb gain.......so awful :-(

same here, burger fries and milk shake plus some cupcakes on the weekend ... easy 3lb gain ... now planning on the next 5 days before I go on vacation, eggs for breakfast, taco salads for lunch and caesar salads for dinner. Back to Atkins for 5 days, and I know I can lose 5lbs.
