Anyone remember when TTC was fun?

Postby ladyraider » Mon Mar 14, 2011 5:16 am

I was looking at someones siggy, where it said how many dpo she was, and I thought-------I remember that. When TTC was actually fun. Huh. I look at all these women ttc, a great deal of them who will never know what we are going through (thank God for their sakes), and then I think of where we are now. Some experiencing their first loss, some their second, some, like me on their 5th or more. I miss ttc being fun. I miss the naivity (spelling?) and innocence of just wanting a child with my husband to make our family complete. Will we ever have that again? ugh. I hate being so dramatic. I guess it just goes with the territory huh?

ugh, I hear ya. I think the only time it was actually fun for me was the first couple of months. Exciting.........then reality. It took us about 3 years to have our 1st child and we had 4 losses along the way, so like I said, the fun was in the first few months. Now I feel like it is a mission. Bleh!

No you are NOT out of your mind. We had just about lost all hope when, just after 3 years, we got pregnant with Danny, our sticky bean. It can happen and it WILL happen for you. Stay strong and don't ever lose sight of what you want. ((hugs!))
