How long did you wait after a m/c?

Postby Chigirl33 » Tue Mar 13, 2012 1:55 pm

So I just found out that I am about to miscarry any day. Of course, we are sad, but i am trying to look to the future. So I am curious - how long did your or are you planning to wait until you ttc again?

Postby darlingdixie51 » Tue Mar 13, 2012 2:41 pm heart goes out to anyone that has to go thru a miscarriage. The wait for it to happen for me was even worse than the process itself. DH and I began trying right after I got a clean bill of health the week after the bleeding stopped and my Doc said that everything took care of itself and there was no need to wait to just consider it a clean slate. Unfortunately, that was May of last year and we still have not been able to conceive again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just had my second miscarriage last month.

I was told by the nurse to wait one to two cycles before trying again. I had a natural miscarriage.

Good luck to you! I pray that we all get our babies soon!

Im so sorry for yourloss. With my 8 week loss, I had to wait a couple of months to be sure that my hcg was back to zero. However, with my losses around 5 weeks, I was able to start trying again right away. In fact, I started trying again right away after my loss last May and finally achieved my first successful pregnancy.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. My OB cleared me as soon as AF came. We TTC that first month but I didn't get pregnant till month 3. Lots of hugs.

im so sorry my heart goes out to you i know the feeling too well

my first m/c we tried right away but took us about 2 normal cycles to fall again and we had a beautiful little girl.

then after my blighted ovum we did the same and it took 2 cycles again but now it looks like we may be miscarrying again

so i dont think there really is an answer just when u and your body are ready :) hugs xxx
