first m/c

Postby mom2atm » Sun Jun 10, 2012 6:48 am

Ive had 2 ectopics then had 3 children, one, our son, passed away at 5 months to a heart defect 4 years ago and yesterday i started to m/c. (Confirmed with falling low hcg) i feel numb towards this m/c is that normal? I didnt get my hopes up b/c ive known people recently whove gone through it and i just had that feeling. I didnt even get excited when i got like 20 literally, bfps i just knew i guess. Also i passed abunch of tissue yesterday so i assume i m/c yesterday but my bleeding has died down from extremely heavy before expulsion to a lighter flow is that normal? Thanks for any advice!

I am sorry for your loss. We also lost out 11 week bean in may. Can be very normal. I bled super heavy for 5 hours then it tapered off to spotting for 5-7 days. I also had.a natural m/c tho we are here if you need its a hard thing to go they but I promise it gets easier.

hi ma'am, soooo sorry for your loss. I think i responded to your other post too. But yes it is totally normal. My first mc(d&C) i bled for 5wks after and then my 2nd mc(natural) i bled for 2-3wks going from heavy clotting to spotting and then to passing the sac. And then nothing for a couple days and then to AF coming. Everyday seems like a year while the bleeding/spotting is still flowing. But it will get better and it will stop.

and it's def ok to feel numb and wanting to be alone and its def ok to cry if you're the crying type bc it can get overwhelming even when you try to hold it in.But we're totally here for u ma'am.

Yes, that sounds normal. I'm very sorry for your loss. I had a m/c in January, and it sounds similar to yours. Take care of yourself- it will get better!
