Songs to help me and you get by

Postby ashcha » Mon Feb 10, 2014 5:59 pm

Hello all,

I am new here so a little intro about me. I got my very first BFP on Father's Day in June of 2012. Unfortunately a few days later I began to bleed and by Friday evening I passed the tiny ball of cells that held all of our new found hopes and dreams. I know as much as everyone else on here how much even just a small glimmer of hope and joy being pregnant for even a day feels and our lives have since been forever changed from those few days that we knew our baby was there.

When I am feeling especially sad, depressed or longing for my lost love, I always listen to these 2 songs. They really hit the mark with me and just let me cry my heart out until I can finally find the strength to stand up and "carry on".

"Forever" - Rascal Flatts

"I Can't Cry Hard Enough" - Susan Ashton

I truly hope that these songs touch you and help you to let it all out when you need it the most as much as they have done and still do for me. Please add some of your favorites as well as I think we all would love to have a playlist of songs to listen to when days are long, you are feeling so alone and no one seems to understand how or why you feel the way that you do; longing for something that is no longer here or "was never there" because it was "so early into your pregnancy". :(

Best of wishes to all you are TTC and I truly hope that we all find that elusive BFP very very soon!! Baby Dust sprinkles to all!!

Thanks for sharing those ashcha :) I am going through an early loss right now, and wanted to share a song that has helped me get through as well. Music can heal and give so much hope at the same time. Sending hugs to you :hugs:
