It will happen give it time. Are they checking to see if your hcg is dropping?
When I started spotting my hcg refused to drop - it stayed completely level. That's why I has to use the cytotec.

When I had it checked 3 weeks ago it had dropped from 69,000 to 60,000 in 48 hours, so I know it's headed in the right direction. I'm soooo on the fence about what to do. The surgery is Monday (4/21) and it is going to cost me $2,500 out of pocket. I of course don't want to pay the money but I also worry about all the trauma to my uterus! Doctors have been in there a lot over the last few years for endometriosis, c-section, D&C #1 and now this? I worry it's going to be so roughed up no baby will ever want to live in there! But I also worry about risk of infection if I don't get the D&C. My labor and delivery nurse friends say to get the D&C right away. I'm running out of time to cancel the surgery.

Hi. Thanks for thinking of me. Things progressed this weekend. Miscarriage started on its own but I ended up in ER due to blood loss. It was awful. My body couldn't expel the sac so I just kept gushing blood. Finally dr went in like a pelvic exam and manually extracted the sac and membranes. Hurt so much! That helped the bleeding slow down. Then they wanted to give me a blood transfusion, but I refused it. Now I'm home recovering. Next time I will immediately get a d&c. This was an awful experience.
