TTC after hysteroscopic removal of products of conception

Postby emsyj2014 » Fri Apr 11, 2014 2:48 am

Hiya

I gave had a couple of weeks of torture after a suspected ectopic followed by a missed miscarriage diagnosis at 7 weeks..

I am having a hysteroscopy on Monday where my consultant is going to remove the products of pregnancy.

Has anyone had this procedure and found that it's led to a successful next pregnancy? It seems that it can help but I haven't found any personal stories to confirm?

This pregnancy was doomed from the start with low HCG levels that didn't increase as they should..

Praying the next time will be fine but worrying that I'm broken now after 20 years of gynae problems on & off!

I had a son at 18 years old without any problems but a lot has happened since then!
Me 38 DP 28 TTC #2 for me - My DS #1 is 19 years old!!

Never too late to find happiness... <3

Hi, I didn't want to read and run. I haven't had this exact procedure. Is it different than a D&C (or D&E as some call it)?

Hiya, it's similar but it's not a blind procedure like D&E - they use a camera to manually remove the products of conception... From what I've read it seems the best option but haven't seen any stories of people that have had it!

I had the procedure today.. So far so good - minimal pain & blood loss. Doc says we can try as soon as I get a proper AF.

Didn't expect all this 7.5 weeks ago!

Glad to hear the procedure went well! Rest up and hopefully AF will be here soon! I think it took 6 weeks after my D&C to get a true AF but I know others get it sooner. Good luck to you :)
