Could it be a chemical?

Postby Sugarplum1922 » Mon Oct 02, 2017 10:48 pm

Hello ladies. I hate posting and asking random questions, but I'd love some feedback. I recently went to a new doctor because my husband and I are trying for our last baby. Of course I was on my period, which hardly ever happens due to PCOS. Anyway, he did an ultrasound and found what looked like a gestational sac plus my uterine lining was very think. I saw it as well. We did a urine pregnancy test--negative. The day goes on and my cramps are getting worse and worse. I come home and felt like I had to pee really bad, so when I went into---TMI----the bathroom everything just gushed out. It was like I was pregnant and my water broke. Blood gushed everywhere and a couple huge blood clots. The blood clots were very large--larger than after I had a vaginal birth. I can feel my uterus cramping and pains in my back. We did a blood test today too, so we are waiting on those results.

Does this sound like it could be an early miscarriage? Or just an abnormal heavy period? If it's a period, wow. This can't be normal, right? I do have PCOS--so irregular cycles are normal for me, but these blood clots are scary.

Hi Sugar Plum,

I'm just wondering how you got on? Was it a chemical pregnancy? I was told yesterday that I'm having a chemical as my HCG went down to 15. I can't stop crying I feel so defeated after 3 IUI's and 1 IVF.

Not sure what I should be expecting as I havent had any blood whatsoever as yet. And I also have PCOS.

Thanks
Saz
