I know... Its always so hard to hold off on testing! I hope this is your month!! It's good that you are trying not to think about it... it never helps to obsess over every little twinge you have! But it is so hard not to sometimes! I am sending you lots of positive thoughts! It has been nice talking to you about all this. Seems like we both have the exact same issues & I have never really had anyone to talk with about all this stuff! Keep me updated on your TWW! I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers!

Hey there! How's everything been going with you? Just a few more days and we can test! So exciting. I too really have enjoyed chatting with someone with that has the same issues as I do. It makes it a little easier! Praying that we both get out BFP this month!

Hi there! Things are going well... just patiently waiting (as always). I had my blood draw this morning at 8:30 & I am anxiously waiting for them to call me with my progesterone level. I just am praying I AT LEAST ovulated this month... but for some reason I am feeling pretty pessimistic about it. When do you plan on testing?? I so hope you get your BFP!! I will let you know what I find out today with my progesterone level!

I hope your progesterone levels are where they should be! Im sure that the letrozole worked for you this month, I just know it! :) I'm going to wait till Friday. That will be exactly 2 weeks from my iui (this is what the doctor recommended too.) Its going to be hard to resist early testing! Good thing I'm out of tests or I think I would start now! Keep me posted and I will do the same!

Well.... Bad news for me. I definitely did not ovulate this month, didn't even come close. Not going to lie I shed some tears... but my RE said not to be discouraged because I only took the 2.5mg this month and most people respond to 5mg. So I start provera tonight and wait for my dreaded period to come and then next month I will do the 5mg femara. It is hard not to be discouraged though... so far I have done 4 months of medication & I still haven't ovulated... It is so hard not to be sad. But now I am just going to look forward to trying again next cycle. Darn PCOS!!

On a better note, I am so excited for you to test on Friday!! I really hope this is your month! I know what you mean about resisting the early testing! It is so hard not to!! Don't let yourself buy any till Friday!! That will keep you away from them! Let me know as soon as you test!! I will be wondering about ya!!

I'm so sorry to hear that! I really had thought you would. Stay positive, the higher dose will work!!! :) It's so hard to deal with all of this infertility stuff. It just plain sucks sometimes!
I will definitely let you know on Friday. I was so tempered today almost went and bought some!

Ohhh no!!! I am so sorry to hear that... I was so excited for today to come so you could test. I had such a good feeling for you. Well, at least we can help each other through another month. Maybe this next month will really be it for both of us! Like you said, even though it is hard we need to stay positive!! This will be our 13th month TTC... and it hasn't gotten any easier for us. I hate the disappointment every month.
I am taking provera though to get my period so I am going to be a week or so behind you this month.

Yeah, it really does suck. Yes at least we will have each other for support again next month. It has been a long 13 months. It's very draining.
So will you do anything in addtion to the letrozole this month?

I just spoke with a nurse over the phone when she called to tell me my progesterone level. She said my RE said that we will double the dosage to 5mg this next month. He has never mentioned the trigger shot to me although when I go in for CD3 I may ask about it. I am wondering if my body needs that extra boost because I NEVER ovulate... Is the trigger shot what does it for you? Did your RE make you go through a couple cycles of letrozole before he would give you that trigger shot? I am just wondering why he hasn't given me that option yet.
How about you? What will this month hold for you? Are you still going to do the IUI with letrozole & trigger shot? Maybe 3rd time will be the charm for you!

The trigger shot is to time ovulation to coincide with the iui. This way you ovulate right around the same time as the insemiation. Thats how my dr explained it to me. I'm sure when you move to an iui they will give you it. After all my tests with RE we went straight to to the letrozole with iui. I'm sure that is because with my obgyn I had done 10 months of clomid without any monitoring. I know that during the clomid I did ovulate because I used the clear blue easy fertility monitor and got my period every month. It wouldn't hurt to ask. As for me I am going to do a 3rd iui with 7.5 m letrozole and trigger shot. Same as the last 2 months. I hope 3rd time is a charm too!

Ohh okay, well that is probably why he didn't suggest it. The nurse asked me if we wanted to do an IUI but we were kinda hoping to get it done the old fashioned way! I guess if we go a couple months with no luck we will probably have to go that route as well. I also take 500mg of metformin. So I will just continue with the metformin & letrozole combo. Even though my testing came back saying that I am definitely not Insulin Resistant my RE said it is still helpful for me to be on the 500mg metformin.

I didn't come back insulin resistant either and mine said I didn't need to be on metformin even when I asked about it. Everything that I have read says it is good. I think that if I ever do wind up pregnant that after the baby I will see about trying to get on it to maybe help me get a regular period on my own.
With me I kind if regret not going into the RE sooner and doing iui. I was so hopefull that the clomid would work doing it the old fashioned way but no luck for me that way. It's probably more my husband who is in a hurty to be pregnant now because he thinks he is getting too old! But it is what is and if its ment to be then it will.
I go for my day 12 ultrasound on the 11th. What day will you be done with the provera?

Tomorrow is my last day on the provera. My RE makes me take it for 10 days. At the end of my 10 days my face is covered in acne & I am a complete jerk! Ugh.. I hate it. It makes me soooo moody & irritable & then I feel so self conscious because of my face. This time even my chest is breaking out. I wish so much that I would ovulate and have a period on my own... it has been a year since I have had a period on my own.
When you spent those 10 months on the clomid, were you ovulating on it? I only ever did 50mg of the clomid but I never came close to ovulating. My GYN wouldn't up my dosage at all & then she finally referred me to my RE who I love. I just wish something would get me ovulating.. then I would at least feel like we have a chance at conceiving.

That stinks about the provera. :( I took it a few times but thankfully it did not effect me that way. But just think its moving you forward to another cycle and hopefully a BFP!
While I was on the clomid I did ovulate, well at least that is what the clear blue easy fertility monitor said. My doctor said that they are pretty accurate. I did not have any type of monitoring while on it though. I took 50mg for a few months and then did 100 for the last 6. This was prescribed by my ob though.
