PCOS, TTC and your opinion

Postby aspasia » Thu Jan 09, 2014 4:09 am

Hi to all ttc'ers out there, Happy New Year.

We are in the 9th month of ttc and it's been a period of mixed emotions, my doctor diagnosed PCOS a year ago before we started to ttc and my cycles vary from 19 days to 42 days. I tried to temp but the temps were all over the place and you could not get a clear pattern to detect ovulation, so i thought i will try ovulation tests but nope they didn't work for me, so i continued to temp and decided to look in herbs if there was anything that could help me stabilize my temps, ovulation and hormone levels before we try actual meds. I found Agnus Castus which i have been taking for two cycles now, i can say that in both cycles i ovulated which is great because i could see it in my chart. So now I'm in my two week wait on CD37 (my cycles are still quite long) and 9 dpo, do you think i might be lucky this cycle? (Below you can see my chart)

Best wishes to everyone and lots of baby dust to all of you :)

Update: PCOS, TTC and your opinion

Postby aspasia » Thu Feb 06, 2014 3:02 am

Hi everyone,

last time i wrote i was in my two week wait, well here we are again once more.
This time thought things are looking a bit promising and I'm quite optimistic with my chart, what do you think? I have tested twice both BFN but since AF hasn't shown up yet it might mean it was too early to get a positive. Fingers crossed for all of you out there on the wait and lots of baby dust :)

Hi Thully,

yes the :af: showed up :(
Anyway i will not wait any longer since my doctor said a year of trying and then we talk again, so next month it will be a year. I made an appointment on the 24th of February to discuss the situation from a different perspective since now i have my charts and even i can tell that most probably i have a hormonal imbalance, due to PCOS i presume.
Let's see what my doc thinks!!

Good luck with your appointment, and I'm sure all will work out for you.

Hormonal imbalance is manageable if you do your homework thoroughly as to what supplements helps... you can easily fall pregnant :D
