The last few days I've been exhausted, and sore nipples appeared yesterday. Could I have gotten lucky this cycle or is AF soon to appear? I really don't know when I O'd, fertility friend gave me like 6 possible O days so I really don't know. DH thinks its AF, apparently I'm moodier than usual he says! I'll probably test sometime next week just to know one way or the other if AF doesn't show first.

I totally know the feeling. Pcos has a way of toying with not only your cycle but also your mind. Hang in there!

Well, AF showed up a few days ago.

I also went last week to the natural fertility clinic. It was super interesting, however I won't be going back. Its $100 per visit; and often times you have to go a few times a week. My insurance only covers $300 per year. So, I'd get 3 treatments then have to stop. I actually had someone say to me "if you can't afford the treatment what makes you think you can afford a baby?". Ouch. People need to mind their business.

So, I'm tired of waiting. I feel like the I'm wasting time. It makes no sense to me to just sit and wait for this HSG. I've waited and wasted the past almost 4 months. I've left messages for my Dr, he's currently on vacation, I'm not OK to sit and wait any longer. There has to be something else we can do.

I'm going to be 35. While there's still time, time isn't something we have a lot of. My age and pcos make things more difficult. And I'm not OK with taking the wait and see approach any more.

Hi bluenoser,

I hear you on the frustrations! Hopefully your doctor gets back to you as soon he's back from vacay and you can get your HSG scheduled. And you're right...you're being proactive and doing what you can to get things figured out. Good luck and keep us posted!

The thing with the HSG is they only do them on Mondays so the timing hasn't worked out yet.

Looking forward to what the Dr says next week.

Well, had the HSG yesterday. The good news: tubes are clear and he says this week is prime time! He said the test showed I'm clear and the test would have cleaned out any debris that may have been floating around in there. He also said that many women get pregnant immediately following the test. Fingers crossed!

The bad news: it hurt. Everything I googled said it would be uncomfortable. Yeah no. It hurt. I could have dealt with uncomfortable, at one point I grabbed a fist full of pillow and tried not to scream. I had bleeding and cramps for about 8hrs afterwards.

Not to scare anyone who may have this dine! You may be just fine as everyone is different. I just remind myself that if this works it'll all be worth it!
