4 years this may...I could cry

Postby wannabemommy25 » Thu Mar 12, 2015 5:16 pm

So this may marks 4 years of ttc. I so badly want to be a mom I've been on metformin for 2 years my periods are mostly regular. My period for this month was due 5 days ago. 8 days ago I had some brown spotting that lasted on and off for 2 days. I thought I was starting my period a little early but then nothing. I am still waiting to see what it's going to do this month. I hate having pcos I just feel like crying

Hi there, I'm so sorry for your troubles TTC. Have you seen a specialist or RE? There might be something else that is a quick fix that is holding you back. Baby dust to you!

Going to an RE is always a good idea. Have you tried charting?

I feel your pain. I'm one Met too, my cycles seem to fluctuate; they're either 28 days or 34 days. Pcos is difficult physically, mentally and emotionally.
Have you discussed with your Dr about a different approach? After 4 years I would hope they'd be open to exploring something new. Have you considered consulting with a natural medicine Dr? Perhaps a naturopath and/or an acupuncturist could be of benefit.
I know its tough. I've been TTC for a year, with the help of a Dr since Aug. Some days are easier than others and some days I feel like throwing in the towel. Despite the emotional rollercoaster I try to remind myself that after I come through all the storms I'll have a wee babe in my arms; I wish the same for all the ladies here.
