Hi Guys!

Postby BFPPlease » Mon Nov 09, 2015 6:18 am

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley and I can't believe I'm typing this but after two years of being together, my boyfriend and I have decided to ttc. I was never formally diagnosed with PCOS in regards to tests, in the past when they have done ultrasounds to look for cysts I have never had one. However at a recent check up with my OBGYN, she said she is pretty confident I have PCOS: I have higher testosterone, irregular and heavy painful cycles, and a hard time with weight loss. I have lost about 25 pounds, switched from white to whole grains, but my insulin levels are always fine.

From the research I have done, I have heard good things about Vitex. I would like it to not only help in the TTC process, but to help regulate my periods. Losing weight has helped for sure, but I think it could be better.

We have decided not to stress about it, not take ovulation tests, ect as we don't wanna ruin the fun out of our new journey - at least not yet. Do you ladies have any suggestions as to what else we can both do besides the lifestyle changes we have already made?

Add more Fruit and veggies to your diet. And start taking folic acid. Vitamin C is good for both of you to take.

I had great luck with Vitex with my son. I was also on 500mg of Metformin. Never had BFP until I took the vitex. Now I'm TTC#2. Metformin makes me super sick and the vitex seemed to make me have awful PMS. So weird how things change! I'm trying Plexus now as I've heard good things about it. Vitex might work great for you. I don't think my son would be here without it!

Your priority should be keeping your diet in check. That is really important, honey. That is the key, improve your diet. Apart from that, make sure you visit a fertility specialist, as well. It may be the case that, IUIs and IVF could work out for you. Good luck to you. My prayers are with you. You can do this!

It's amazing to see you so upbeat! That's the way to do it! You should make sure your diet is measured. That's all that matters. Visit a fertility specialist, if you want to. I think that could be the ideal way to go. Good luck to you! I really hope you get a BFP, soon.
