TTC 24 months +

Postby stace88 » Sun Mar 27, 2016 4:00 am

Looking for any kind of faith?!?!

25 months TTC.
M/c after 12 months of trying.
6 months of clomid with little success.

I just don't know how to keep going.

Hey Stace

I'm 31. We have been trying for 30 months. NTNP for years before that. I've only recently gotten my PCOS under control.

I'm so sorry about your loss. I know words aren't very comforting.

Everyone's TTC journey is their own. But I continue trying because I want to feel that first tiny grasp when my baby grabs my finger for the first time. And I want to cry in the car secretly when I drop my child off at Kindergarten. We push on because the devastation me and DH feel every month with the BFN's and AF arrival will all fade if we ever get our sticky.

If you do decide it's too much to bear, no one here will judge you. But you also have plenty of support if you wish to continue.

Hi Stace, welcome to the site.

I agree with Wishfull it is such a difficult journey and everyone copes in different ways. There is no 'right' way to do this, but keeping hopeful and focusing on a positive outcome is how I'm trying as well. We are on 14 months TCC now but NTNP for a long time with 1MC and 2 CP. It is hard but I'm glad to have the support of women going through similar situations. I hope you get your rainbow baby soon xxx

I'm so sorry it's taken you so long, we are in the same boat except this is our 43rd cycle. I wish I had something to say to make it easier or make you feel better. It's nice to know you're not the only one struggling. I really hope it happens soon for you! If I could give you any advice it would be to be proactive. Go to the doc, find out why you aren't conceiving. Save up for any medical procedures necessary, get DH and yourself on vitamins (if you aren't already). I hope it happens for all of us soon! Good luck and hugs sent your way!

I am so sorry you all are going through this. It took us 2 years to conceive DD. I was able conceive her with metformin alone after my pcos diagnosis althoug I did have an ectopic 3 months prior. Since then we have tried for 6 years with no luck. I have dropped 50 lbs since January. My cycles have returned and on my 3rd cycle I conceived again but it ended with a chemical pregnancy. For me the key has been weight loss. I still have faith we will have another. I just have to. No matter how much heartbreak comes with it but this is my journey and like someone has already posted we each have our own. Good luck to all of you.
