Is there hope?

Postby Greenbee24 » Fri Apr 15, 2016 1:03 pm

Just had my second mc (first was in 2014). I'm not feeling quite as depressed this time around. I am taking metformin 500 twice a day (pcos and ir), prenatal daily, Vitex 800 daily, and baby aspirin 81 daily. I go back in June for an annual and she is talking Clomid at that time also. My progesterone has caused both mc(I think). It was 2 the first mc and this one was 8 but fell to 5 then to 15 with progesterone supplements. Anyone have a similar history and have a great pregnancy?

I am sorry for yr loss. I can't help much, but I have read that in case of recurrent mcs doctors recommend doing preimplantaion genetic diagnosis PGS NGS to decrease a risk of mcs. Anyway I would consider visiting a doc and discussing this issue. All the best x

Thought I would update. I found out Wednesday that I am pg again (month after mc). Had to see pcp Friday for referral and hcg 216. I might add that fri, Saturday, Sunday last weekend I took tests and all were negative. So hoping 216 is a good starting number. I have never had one start off so high. First was 79 and second was just over 100. I can go see my ob gyn once I get this stupid referral for my insurance. Ugh.
