Hey ladies!!

Postby Brode10 » Sat Sep 16, 2017 7:21 pm

Just registered. My name is Brody.
My wife has PCOS and was diagnosed about a year ago. We are so incredibly thankful for the 18 month old we now understand how lucky we are to have conceived. I am here in search of advice as I am struggling to be her support team. Our marriage is seriously being put to the test these last 16 months as things have really been amplified. I hope to meet some people in my shoes as well as some outside advice from those in her shoes because I want nothing more then to be able to help her, support her and encourage her to fight it!,
If that is alright with all of you!!!

Hello and welcome!!
Im sorry to hear about your struggles,is really hard when you have been trying for a baby for so long.
Is really sweet of you researching pcos.
I don't have pcos so I can't really be of much help but i have read lots of stories where the ladies changed their life style around, lost lots of weight, cut carbs and sugar etc and they managed to have regular periods and keep the pcos under control.
I wish you good luck and I hope you find more informations!!

Hi! Welcome to this forum. Sorry to hear about your struggles. But I must appreciate you that you are dealing nice way. I had a complication from the start of my marriage. I was diagnosed with PCOS. I didn't conceive naturally. When I came to know about IVF, I had tried it and blessed with a baby boy. I suggest you that you and your wife go for IVF. I hope it helps you out and fulfills your wish of being a parent. Best wishes

Hello, Brody! Sorry you've found yourself here. Welcome!
Firstly, cardially congratulate you with your 18 mns old :D May your bundle of joy be healthy and happy. Secondly, every struggling/treatmen effects the relationship. Here's no better way out than being a rock of support for each other. Investigating PCOS issues for your wife is super great thing you're doing, really. This is so touchy..Unfortunately one cannot get rid off PCOS at all but can ease or eliminate some of the bothering symptoms. I have both myself--endo and PCOS. In the time flow I cannot tell the symptoms one from another. They seem to have penetrated into complete unit causing one BIG complication --I couldn't conceive on my own  We had to apply for the fertility expert's help. 2 failed fresh ivf with oe had been behind when we first started considering using donor egg. I can imagine your sweetie if going through now. Pretty tough things, but I believe you'll battle them together. Wish you all the best!!

"Hey there! I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. My sister in law also had the same issue. Her friend has recommended her to attend an event being held by a European clinic in which professional doctors are going to come and advise the struggling couples. She got so happy to hear about it. She has a lot of hopes for this event. She says that it is gonna be very grand. I am sure it's going to be very informative. And an interesting one too. All your queries would be answered there. You will have a chance to meet qualified doctors there. I hope you will get the solution to my problems. Wishing good luck to you and your wife! "
