TTC and terrified

Postby AuburngirlTTC » Fri Dec 01, 2017 6:45 am

Hey everyone! I'm new here and still figuring out the best board to post in but I'm looking for advice, support, and any help we can get. My DH and I are newly married and TTC. He's 36 and I'm 33. We both were previously married and both TTC in our previous marriages unsuccessfully. We are now ready to try with each other and are so scared we won't be successful. Some background... I have a pretty consistent 27 day cycle. Sometimes a few days more or less depending on the stress level of my life that month. I haven't been on birth control in 6 months. I'm slightly overweight but still active. DH is very in shape and very active. Right now all we really are doing is tracking my ovulation with ovulation strips and BD every other day around ovulation. 6 months unsuccessful. Advice? When should we reach out to a fertility specialist? We both want a baby so bad but I'm afraid it won't happen for us.

Hello and welcome, doctors say that women over 35 who have been actively trying (meaning tracking ovulation and BD at the right time) should seek medical help but that is a very personal decision,if you feel that you are not ready to go that way yet just keep trying.
All I can say is good luck and I hope you get your bfp really soon.
