Hi Angie!!! :D How are you?

I taped the pg tests to a paper and wrapped that in Xmas paper and then I put it in a big envelop and wrapped that and then put that in a big box and wrapped that. I put it under the tree and told Dan that Santa had brought it and left instructions for him to open it early. He took his time opening it, of course!

He stared at the test and said "REALLY?" I nodded and he gave me a big hug and said he was thrilled! From then on, he has been babying me and making sure I take my prenatal and eat right..LOL. :)

We get an u/s on Tuesday to make sure everything looks good! My gyno is gonna do one for me! He is so nice! We will get to see if it is twins!

I would LOVE twins! Dan said it would be shocking a harder, but we could do it. I really think it is a girl!!! :D

We are flying up to Oregon on Wednesday to tell his parents! We'll be there for 5 days. We are super excited!

So, I posted this in the prayers board, but here is our really big news..

Two nights ago, we got a message from our phone company saying that we were really behind our phones would be cut off the next day. Well, we freaked! We can not lose or phones, because we do not have a home phone and Dan would get in MAJOR trouble from work if they tried to call. Plus, I would hate to be stuck at home with a baby and no car (Dan takes it to work) and have something happen...

Anyway, We found out about 8 months ago that my brother has brain cancer. He lives in Georgia with his wife and 2 daugthers. I got a plane ticket and took Wyatt and flew there right away to help any way I could. He had brain surgery the day I got there and was in recovery the first time I saw him. My mom and Wyatt and I stayed at their house to help. Most of the help was watching the kids and paying their bills. My brother healed quickly and started Chemo and radiation. He did fine with the drugs..they never really made him sick. He was going back to work, so we decided to come back home.

Right before I got home, we found out our landlord was selling our house so we had to move right away. I was home for 2 days when we moved and had to pay another deposit and pet deposit.

Needless to say, our money resource was tapped out totally. We ended up having to move into a more expensive house that we can not really afford, but it is all that was available.

We have still not recovered. We are broke all the time. Dan is from a small town in Oregon and a few months ago he was offered a job at the sheriff's office in the county he grew up in. It is way better pay and benefits plus we wanted to move to Oregon eventually. He applied and went through all of the testing. He did awesome on everything, but failed the math by 1 question! He was devisated! They told him that he could take the math test again in Feburary and they could hire him as soon as he passed it. We decided to stay here until Feburary and he would go back and test.

So back to a few nights ago...We called Dan's mom and told her about the phone bill and told her we have $6.43 to our name until the 5th. Of course being the wonderful, sweet hearted person she is, she paid the full bill right then...GOD bless her! :kissfriend:

That night we were sitting on the couch and both wanting to cry and I said "What are we doing? Feburary is close..why don't we just move..let's just do it.." Dan can up with a million reasons why it wouldn't work and I batted them all away. Told him it had been a long time since we had taken a leap of FAITH. We called his mom and talked to her about it to get an outside opinion. She talked to hid dad and they called us back yesterday and said "Let's do it!"

We are SO excited to finally be DOING something about this!

Our plan is that we are gonna live with Dan's parents ( they offered rent free) and we are gonna put most of our extra money into paying off all our debt. We don't have very much ($5000-$7000). We do have to cover our car payment, insurance, phone bill, some food and we insisted on paying some utilities.
We plan to give our rental company 30 days notice on Tuesday and Dan will give his work notice now. We MUST find someone to rent this house right after us or we will have to pay rent still until it is rented or our lease is up in May. That is the only thing tht could suck, but leap of FAITH right!?
We plan to be moved up to Oregon probably the last week in January. Dan will test on Feburary 3rd and even if they do not have a fulltime spot open, he was told that he could start working parttime right away and they would hire him fulltime as soon as they have a spot. He can also get a parttime job somewhere else for a bit if we need the money.

I will be looking for kids to watch again. I would get a job, but we can not afford daycare and Dan's parents work, so it is easier for me to do in home childcare.

The great thing is that it is much cheaper to live up there! We get great help since Dan grew up in a very small town (1 traffic light) and we know everyone! It's a blessing to get to stay with his parents for a few months and get the debt paid off and then we can get our VA loan and buy a house for much cheaper then we pay in rent here!

We just feel SO much better to know there is a light now! We are working to get out of this hole and we are gonna be ok! It'll be amazing to look back in 2008 and see that we did it! It's like an entire skyscraper has been lifted off my shoulders!

It'll be a little hard living with his parents. I love them, but LORD knows it is difficult to live with anyone when you are married..especially inlaws. I will remind my self how lucky we are that we have them to help us so selflessly. I want a better future for us and our children and we are FINALLY on our way!!

We just need tons of prayers that GOD will help everything fall into place for us, so we can work through this!

Wow, that is a book!! Hope your doing well!!! :D

It's just 1 in there!! Whoow!! The u/s went perfect!!! We saw the :hb: !!!! We saw the baby right away and I saw the little heart flickering right away too! The yolk sack looked perfect. I am measuring right at 6 weeks! Guess what!? He checked my ovaries and they look totally normal! NO cysts!  :jump:

He said the baby and I look perfectly healthy!!!

He asked me about an OB and we told him that we are moving in a month and will be looking for a midwife in Oregon. He said that was great and that we can just call him if we have any trouble before we move or even after we get up there if we don't find a midwife right away. He said while we are still here, he will act as our OB even though he doesn't do that anymore. He said once we move, we can call him anytime with questions or concerns!! He is a great great doctor!!! I will miss him!

So, we put in our 30 day notice to the realty company today. They gave us no trouble and said they would start to advertise right away and would give a 24 hour notice if they have a person who wants to see the house.
Dan also went and talked to the sheriff and let him know what is going on. The sheriff said that he was sad to see us go and would give Dan excellent recommendations. He said if we ever wanted to come back that Dan would be at the top of the list!!
He also talked to the under sheriff and a sgt and they said the same things. Dan said the sgt actually stopped and called the sheriff's office in the county Dan is trying to get hired on with right then. Dan said he asked to speak to the sheriff, but only got as far as the sheriff's personal assistant. Dan said he told her that they are about to hire "one of our guys" and that they wouldn't find a better deputy!!! Dan said he stood there the whole time in shock as the sgt went on and on about what a great cop he is and how lucky they are to be hiring him!!
Gosh I wish there was a happy crying smilely on here!!!

We also got a response on the local message board where we listed this house. A lady asking about the rent and deposits!! Hopefully it'll work out so we don't have to stress!

Everything is falling into place right now, THANK YOU LORD!!!

We are so SO excited!! :happyforyou:

Ok, I have laundry and packing to do...our flight leaves tomorrow at 1145 am. We will be gone until Monday..the 8th I think.

WOW! That was a lot of reading to catch up on! :D

First things first... :ptl: for the :hb: & NO CYSTS! :jump: :jump: I bet you were so ecstatic when you saw the baby! (well.. I suppose you saw the fetal pole & yolk sac this early on...right? :dunno: ) I'm stupid when it comes to those things since I've never been PG. :D

:ptl: for things falling into place with moving and your house!!! I have no doubt in my mind that this will work for you! You have put it in God's hands and that is what's important!! I went through your prayer request post and said a little :praying: for every hardship you are struggling though.. I hope that God leads you in the direction you are meant to be in.. He's a good God and will not let you down! He doesn't give you more than you can handle! :D

Well, the only thing to report on my end is... Nothing! I have so sxs, no sore :bbs:, no "out of the ordinary" cm, nothing. I'm 9dpo today and just assume my temps will plummet and I'm start spotting tomorrow. That is what always happens and I don't know why it would change this month. :( I'm sort of bummed about the whole situation. We will begin our 19th month TTC and that is just too long! I know that God has my life planned and that I should trust him. Sometimes, that's just plain hard. :|

Anyways, I really hope things fall into place over the next couple days! Have fun on your trip!!! I'm counting down until June... that's the soonest we get to go on another vacation! :D

Aww thank you! It was wonderful to see the baby! Yup, we saw the fetal pole, but to us it's just our baby.
I am doing ok. I am pretty sick and can't really help with packing. Bless my husband, he is so good to me! He puts up with me and our son who is learning to test rules. LOL

Things are moving right along! We are moving Februray 3rd. We have sold some stuff and have $700 in savings to help with the move and bills for the first month. We are also filing taxes asap, so we can have that in savings.

My dh will have a parttime job with high hours for sure as soon as he passes a written test. He will be taking the test right after we get moved up there, so he won't be out of work for more then 2 weeks. He should get hired on fulltime by the end of Februray from what the hiring sgt said.

The one thing we really need prayer on is getting the house we are leaving rented! It has to rent or we have to continue to pay rent!

Other than that..we are ready to go!!

I am so sorry you are having such a hard time ttc. It took us 17 months with our son, I remember how much it hurts! You know, it happened with our son and this time...I began to pray as if I was already pg. Let's see if I can make this make sense..

For example:

Lord,
I claim YOUR promises to YOUR people for Angie. YOUR WORD says that none of YOUR people will miscarry or be barren. I pray that YOU will touch every part of Angie's body and her husband's and heal every part that has caused them to be barren.
I pray that Angie's body will make the perfect egg and release it and that she and her husband will come together at the perfect time and the perfect sperm will meet her egg and that they will conceive a gorgeous baby. I pray that her tubes will be totally open and the baby will travel through her open tubes to her uterus. I pray that during it's travel, the baby will grow and divide and that Angie's body and the baby will make all the hormones and do everything they need to do to have a normal, healthy pregnancy. I ask that her lining be perfect and that the baby implant deeply into her lining.
Once there, I ask that Angie's body and the baby continue to make all the hormones and do everything they need to do to have a healthy, perfect pregnancy. I claim YOUR promise to YOUR people that NONE will miscarry.
I ask that Angie be totally healthy and this baby grow perfectly healthy and strong in her womb until it is healthy enough to live in this world.
I ask then for a wonderful labor and birth with no complications and healthy mom and baby in the end.

Please trust and bless this family with one of YOUR sweet angels!

Angie and I stand together believing in YOU and YOUR WORD and this baby.
We love and thank YOU before it is even done!
In JESUS name we pray
AMEN

I prayed something to that effect every night (unless I feel asleep in the middle of it..LOL)and each time I got pg that cycle. The hardest part is trying to believe it. I had many doubts and when I did, I would remind myself of that prayer and tell the devil to get behind me. It was so hard and I am not sure I ever really believed it, but it gave me something to hope on.

I will continue to stand believing with you! :)

Wow Katie! It seems like everything is falling into place!! :ptl: :ptl: :ptl: :jump: :jump: :jump: It looks like you are moving next week!! I bet it's hard to care for Wyatt and be in the 1st tri AND pack all at the same time! You are a superwoman!! It's great that Dan is being so supportive and helpful! God bless helpful husbands!! :D :D I'll still continue to :praying: for you! I know it might be trying at times (getting settled and all in a new place) but I know you and your family will get through! You have such strong faith! :D

Thank you so much for that prayer!! I started saying that prayer (I tend to fall asleep during prayers at night too ( :shh: ) so I pray in the shower!! :D I know that God has a plan for me! He knows what we are going through and there is a purpose in it... I just wish I would know what it was!

Actually, I've had more faith in God since DH's aweful s/a than before. I know that might sound odd (some ppl would be angry with God) but I know that God does perform miracles and it can happen! I have to put all my trust and faith in him now!

My dad had testicular cancer when I was 3 and he was deemed "sterile" afterwards (combination of the chemo/radiation & removal of one testicle). They had already had my older sister and I, but always wanted another child. They prayed and prayed for 7 years for God to bless them with another child. My dad had numerous semen analysis's and every one came back 0 count.. there was no chance they could every have another child. One day my mom woke up and was reading her bible..there was a verse that lead her to take a pregnancy test (it was about having faith when it seems impossible) and it was :bfp:!!! She questioned "HOW HOW HOW??" but with God you can't ask HOW? He is full of blessings and miracles!! Just when you feel it's impossible, God will show you the way! :D I always knew that Hannah was the "miracle baby" but not until recently did I know all the struggles they went through to get there! It gives me so much hope! :D

Well, I'm rambling now.. I hope all is well!!

Hey Katie~

I'm feeling good... Actually I'm not feeling anything PG related at all... I have totally stopped trying this cycle and just letting things happen as they should. As far as the BD timing goes... we tried to limit it only beause his count came back so low.. we wanted to make sure he had plenty in there! The only reason we timed BD was because I had already taken Clomid this month.. I go to the doc tomorrow... I will then find out if she wants me to continue the Clomid or wait until we get DH's situation under control.

Hope all is well for you!! :D :D
