Success after a laparoscopy

Postby Holly_1983 » Sat Nov 10, 2012 11:14 am

Going for my laparoscopy on 28th November and I can't wait !
After 3 rounds of Clomid and no success, I'm hoping this will shed some light into what the problems are with me !
Has anyone got any success stories after having a lap !?
I'm 29, TTC for 16 months and so so desperate for a baby !

I know I'm late, but how did everything go? A friend of mine was successful after laproscopy. Hope you get your bfp and healthy baby soon!

Hi all, Dr. wants to do Lap on me. Can someone tell me if it hurts, recovery time and is it through a local or general? Symptoms of anyones Endo? She quick mentioned it and I dismissed it but I'm thinking I may need too.

Endo is a little crazy bc some people have symptoms and some do not. My symptoms were painful periods, painful bowel movements and urination, strong ovulation pain, and pain after intercourse. I had a lap in Oct. and they used general anesthia. It took about a week for my swelling to go down, but I hardly had any pain after the surgery. Much easier than an umbilical hernia surgery I had a few years ago. They found stage 3 endo. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply...I hate hospitals and Drs offices with a passion. With my DD I was there almost everyday. I just want this to be easy...like we all do!
