Pregnant after ttc for over a year with mild endometriosis

Postby syt2382 » Tue Oct 22, 2013 6:13 pm

Hey ladies,

I haven't been on this site for quite some time and honestly never thought I'd ever be posting on here. Some quick background on me. I'm 31 and husband and I had been ttc for over a year. I have mild endometriosis and he has no issues. We did two failed iui cycles and were ready to move onto ivf. Well I guess the whole "it will happen when you least expect it" bit that everyone kept preaching to me was true. We were supposed to start our first ivf cycle on September 1st, af was due august 19. I figured I was late due to all of the hormones from my last cycle. Took a test at 4 days late and it was negative, then took another when at 6 days late, totally expected it to also be negative so I walked away and didn't return to it for about 10 minutes and had the shock of my life. Fast fwd to now, I'm 13 weeks pregnant expecting a little girl and so far everything has been great, minus the ALL DAY nausea. I still can't believe that this happened to us and still find myself asking my husband, are we really pregnant? The last thing I expected was a BFP and I had absolutely NO SYMPTOMS. Just wanted to share my story with you ladies. I never thought I would get pregnant, and even feared that the ivf would fail, but God had different plans and gave us this blessing naturally when he was ready. Best of luck to all of you!

Loving -- I faint or almost faint with my endo as well. I've not seen any other ladies say that this happens. It sucks!

For this cycle I should be getting ready to o. For The whole journey, everything is pretty much in my siggy below. What about you? It's pain that causes me to pass out, and sometimes throw up. I have endo on my bowels and bladder so it always happens in the bathroom during AF. I'm always afraid I'm going to passout and fall into the floor with my pants down! stupid endo! However, I've been eliminating bad foods and I am seeing an improvement. You are certainly not alone!

WOWWW... Again..I've never heard anybody else with that. They haven't done my cytoscopy yet but they're 90% sure I have endo in my bladder, and also in bowel. I haven't heard any other ladies with it! Maybe that why we have the fainting and severe pain!!! I'm a little shell shocked right now!! My doc told me I need a hyst asap because the enod in the bladder could require a urostomy. . I am going in for my first IUI in December. Waiting for AF to arrive! I've been thinking about things for over a year..went to RE in August and now waiting for IUI. I am single, so I'm not keeping track of ovulation and I'm not bding because..well.. I have morals.. and I had a "plan" and.. I don't want my child to have donor who I've dated..sorry..still a bit of a sore subject not sure it makes sense. But I'm going with donor sperm and PRAYING SOOO SOO HARD that this first IUI works. Keep me updated!

Loving, i have had endo on bladder and bowel repeatedly. It's always removed with LAPS. I even had my uterus stuck to my bladder at one point. Endo sucks.

Some women Will cough up blood of its in their lung, if it's attached to the diaphragm breathing can hurt. The think its also growing in my back in middle tissue but I'm not going to do exploratory stuff. With ne..sorry..tmi ..I have blood in my urine before I start my period as well as rectal bleeding. . They were going to do exploratory surgery, but frankly, I'm convinced after how bad it is in my peritoneal cavity and don't want to pay for another surgery and time off. Also pain with writing and bowel movements are symptoms. The thing is to have a lap done

Wow, good to hear this BFP story syt. I was diagnosed with moderate endo too last year. We have been trying since sep 2015, but my first two cycles after meds went haywire. So, technically this is our third month TTC. I am due for AF today or tomorrow. HPT was negative yesterday. If AF does show up, me and DH have decided for a break cycle this month with no meds. Need to breathe. My doc has suggested iui though. So will prepare my mind for it. Def not this cycle. Good luck for your sticky bean!

Loving and amber, though i have never fainted, but i have def fallen to ground clutching my belly during my menses. Excruciating pain to an extent that i could not walk. So ueah, talk about it.
