I just read about this...and this post was from a while ago, so you might have already received your answer. BUT...it just acts as a blood thinner to help eliminate clots. Usually women who have MC in the past are put on this right after BFP until about 36 weeks. Hope that helps!

So this is an odd one. Had a period 2 weeks ago, was expecting to ovulate now but no signs. Had a really strong positive opk but been spotting for 7 days after my period. Decided to just take a pregnancy tes and see, and it was positive!! Its not possible surely?? Been to hospital and had blood hcg checked which was low. Worried it might be another ectopic. So strange! Anyone else had this with clomid? Just had my 4 th round and had pretty much given up hope!

Hi dear. I got my BFP last week after 1 round 50mg Clomid. 4 week mark hit today. 4 days ago started taking Emetria Pro-Gest progesterone cream in case mine is low so I'm praying it helps the baby hold in case I really am too low (was low at 9.6 progesterone on my 21 days check up - but the Dr. made me go in early - she believes in day 21 when really it should be taken at 7 DPO. I 'd say 18, 19 or 20 according to dark positive OPK on mid-day 18). From my extensive research, looks like the prog. the cream is safer than prescription (because they can't give you something natural that is prescribed) - all natural is only available over the counter. Dr. can always switch you over to a prescription if you are more comfortable. My suggestion to anyone who wants help in reproductive system is to visit Ukraine as they have the best technology and research team there. I hope my experience will help someone in pregnancy. Stay safe be happy.
