:( Your experience with Femara actually scared me! To me it almost proves (IMO) that it's not as great as Clomid in certain areas. Sure Femara doesn't have as many side effects, but if you don't O on it then what's the point?!

Just to give a Femara counterpoint, I did 4 rounds of Clomid and only produced 1 egg each time. One round of Femara and I had 2.

Femara didn't do jack for me either until I added Repronex in with it. :hugs: Congrats on the weight loss though. That should help when you start injectables.

I was VERY doubtful of femara, since on clomid I never o'd until day 25 and later, but it ended up working for me. I think it's hit and miss with people. I know a bunch of ppl that had no success with clomid but did on femara, and vice versa. I didn't want to try it, I wanted to go to injects, but for cost I gave it a go.

At least you know though, right? At least you are doing everything you can. It was worth a shot like clomid, for peace of mind at least, although I know it sucks :( I'm sorry.

socialite_baby - like I said above I was doubtful but it ended up clicking with me. I think it's worth trying and seeing if it agrees with your body or not.

I've been thinking about trying it first since it's supposed to be better for me (I have endometriosis) than Clomid. I have coupons for it that'll most likely make it cheaper than Clomid too! I think it'll all come down to the doctor though.

I have to say I love femara.. Clomid did make me O some cycles but it also gave me huge nasty cysts other cycles.. (when 8cm cysts burst it really hurts!)

My 4th femara cycle did the trick, I gave up on clomid after 8-9 cycles.
