Ovidrel Costs

Postby ALLready4theBUMP » Sun Nov 30, 2014 1:49 pm

Anyone have any idea how much Ovidrel costs without insurance? If so do you have examples of US pharmacy costs? Thanks!!!

My Clomid was super cheap at $9 :)

Without any insurance I believe its about $360. I am sure that depends on the pharmacy but I would imagine they are all relatively close to that. I have an HSA with an HDHP so while I technically I am supposed to pay full price pay for my meds, the insurance does kick in some for certain meds (but it all hits my deductible). I wind up paying $115 for my Ovidrel from Target, CVS and ExpressScripts (Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy). Not sure if that helps you or not!

I purchased the Ovidrel 250mcg pre-filled syringe from Freedom Fertility pharmacy. They were great to work with, and they also offer a mail-in rebate of $10. The listed price on their website is $84.50. It does mention a $30 handling fee if the ovidrel is not purchased with qualifying meds (I'm assuming they are referring to FSH injections like gonal-F or Follistim). I also purchased Gonal-F from them and was able to get 50% off both drugs through the Compassionate Care Program. Here are the links to both if you are interested.

Thanks for the info ladies!! My covered month it cost $50 and I asked what the retail was on it and they said $128 so it's not as bad as I thought :)
