So, we (the hubs and I) started ttc (well, officially lol) 4+ years ago. After 18 mos of no luck, I went to see a doctor. She did a full workup on me (hubs still hasn't been checked). My tubes are not blocked which is good, but I have PCOS and don't ovulate on my own. My estrogen and progesterone were low due to the PCOS. Anywho, she put me on 50 mg of clomid for 3 mos (days 5-9) with no luck. She said we could go see a fertility specialist who has more options, but the closest one to us is almost 3 hours away and with the amount of visits we would have was too much on our schedule. And THEN I got into the nursing program (took 8 years to get in) finally. So worth the wait!! I hope to say that one day soon about having a baby, but when I got into the program we put the ttc bit on hold....until now. I will be done the RN progrsm in about 6 months, so we are back on the baby making schedule and clomid (100 mg, cd 3-7). Yesterday I finally got a definite positive opk reading and the hubs and I have been bd eod per docs orders. Really hopefu that

Good luck! I had my first ovulation this month since we started trying! Hoping the next test you take has two lines as well!

Congrats on the nursing program, and good luck with your tww this month!! I too have pcos and I'm starting Femara for my first time tonight. I'm only on month 3 TTC but I've known about my pcos since I was 15, so my dr. Was willing me help me right away! I'm not being monitored or anything, just taking the Femara cd 4-9.
