No Lisa, not yet! There is a woman on a different thread who had a very very faint bfp followed by what seemed like a full blown AF, so she figured it wasn't a true bfp after all. Well then on cd9 of her next cycle, she ended up with a true BFP. She was pregnant all along!! Obviously, that's unusual, but anything is possible. Especially if your only spotting. Stay away AF!!! Stay away!!

Hey everyone who has gotten their bfp since I've last visited this thread, congrats! It's so exciting seeing positives. Maybe those of you who have gotten bfp's wouldn't mind sharing some symptoms by DPO? And whether you've used fertility medicines.

Lisa. my sister had absolutely no spotting at all her first pregnancy. She went in for her first ultrasound to see the heartbeat and there was none. It wasn't until her D&C that she finally started bleeding. Her next pregnancy she started bleeding right away. She though for sure she was miscarrying because she was literally having a full blown period but she keeps testing and it was positive. When she went in for her ultrasound there was a tiny heart beating away! And now I have an almost two year old nephew. Bleeding (or spotting) doesn't always mean you're out. And not bleeding doesn't always mean you're safe! So stay positive. I can't wait to see your BFP! Good luck.

Lisa- no it's definitely not! Maybe wear a pad though (I know, ugh) so you can better see how much you're bleeding? My dermatologist (so someone who knows enough about the human body) said she thought she was getting her period and didn't realize she was preg until 7 weeks so I figure if someone as enlightened as her can make that mistake, anyone can. It truly is different for everyone...which is so frustrating. Too bad there wasn't a rule book to all this baby making business. If I googled "left pinky toe twitching pregnancy symptom" I'm sure I could come up with something.......

Lisa- they are right, don't count yourself out yet! 4 more days till testing!! :)

Jz- I can't narrow it down to a day by day but I know that after I got my first very faint BFP at 9DPO I started getting nauseous had to pee more frequently, my nipples were sensitive and was pretty gassy. Also, the main symptom would be that I have been having AF like cramps since 9DPO, they happen everyday and are on and off. Hope this helps! and I would say that is pretty close to positive! Start BDing!!!

I wish I knew more about opks. To me it looks positive.
Fyi...I took the tampon out. It just looked...dirty. (Old blood...nothing new)

I'm still hoping for a temp increase tomorrow...and still waiting to test. I don't think I can handle seeing a bfn.

LIsa - totally agree that what you have does not sound like AF. I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

i'm sat here raging - two people at work are now pregnant after TTC for one month! I know I should be happy for them but at the moment i just want to cry and punch them :-( But you "put your face on" and say congratulations and carry on I guess. Maybe this month will be our month x

Jzscott- is the right side line the test line? If so, it's not positive yet but almost. Do you have any ultrasounds scheduled?

Today is about 9 DPO. No symptoms except for usual sore bbs but that's common with AF. I always feel so positive around O time and then in the 2nd week of the TWW I just count myself out and feel so sad. I know there's no reason to but I guess I'm trying not to set myself up for disappointment. AF probably going to come on v-day. If it comes I hope it just comes on Friday so I can get my emotions out of my system.
Just kind of venting this morning...this is month 9 of TTC. I remember the first time we really started trying I calculated my due date and it was Feb 13th. Maybe that's why I'm extra sad this time...at one point I thought we could possibly have a baby by now and that is really a hard reminder of this journey.

Alright sorry for the depressing post. Going to try to have a more positive day! :)

Well sorry for another depressing post... Looks like I am out for this month. Temp drop to my pre O temp this morning and then started very light spotting. Seems very early especially compared with last month but just waiting to see when AF will show herself now!

Sympathise with you Bignetty, been trying for 1.5 years now and over that time I think every woman in my office has got pregnant or had a baby... Even the ones that don't have husbands or boyfriends!

I'm sad but not as much as last month... Think I am coming to terms with the fact that the drugs may not work and so just seeing this as a count down to IVF. I know it's a very negative viewpoint but I think it is good for me. Last month I put my life on hold... This month I've just been carrying on as normal and not been as distracted.

Ruby, I'm sorry to hear about the temp drop, and the spotting. I think a countdown to IVF is a good way to look at it. I'm glad you're feeling more positive than last month. Do you have one more cycle on the drugs before you try IVF?

Bignettyb I totally hear you!! The jealousy makes me crazy, and putting on a happy face is so difficult. I'm glad I'm not the only one who actually feels angry about it at times. But we will all have our turn eventually, I know it.

An, stay optimistic until the witch shows! You're still early this cycle. But I'm not one to talk bc I'm 10 dpo, and also pretty much counting myself out as well. I just have no symptoms whatsoever! So I'm trying to be realistic and prepare myself for AF so I won't be so disappointed, just like you said.

It's really reassuring to hear that other people feel angry and disheartened too. This process does really make you feel like you're going mad and you're all on your own. Trying to stay positive is so hard x

Thanks TUA... It helps a lot to have the support of you ladies! Have one more month of drugs then back to see the Doctor, then have the option for another three months of drugs or straight to IVF. We only get one round free on th NHS and I have booked a holiday to Vegas in October to see my Mum sing so I think I will take the additional three months of clomid and go for IVF in the summer. But hoping they will at least do another monitored month.

FX for everyone else!

Ruby, have you already had IUI, or did they say they would go straight from monitored cycles and time intercourse, to IVF? Sorry if I'm missing something!!
