Thanks heaps for the encouragement ladies but u know month after month it just gets harder and harder to stay positive and have faith. But u girls keep me strong. I just thought with me o on my own already that clomid would def knock me up straight away I guess I was naive to think it would've happened on my first month taking it, now idk if I should bother next month taking it. It will be my 3 rd shot if I do. What do u think I should do? To take or not? Gyno is only allowing me 3 cycles to try it.

I'm supposed to be on 3 months of clomud before we go to other things. I had a decently sharp pain around my left ovaries yesterday so I'm not sure if that was implantation or what. Only time will tell.

Wow.. this board has been busy! First off, Congrats to the two that got their BFPs!!!! Stick little beans! And second, so sorry to hear about your loss Lisa! My heart aches for you. And third, to the others that feel like giving up, hang in there!! It will happen one way or another. I know a lot have mentioned adoption and that will make you a mother just as much as carrying a baby in your uterus and then have to squeeze them out :) but if adoption isn't for you, fur-babies would love for you to be their momma! I also know of a couple that tried for years and it wasn't until they gave up and adopted their son that they got pregnant. I really hope and pray that all of you will get your BFPs soon!!

Firstly, Congratulations Dana and Jamie on those second lines :-)

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Yesterday was not a good day and I was crying way too much to even attempt a reply to you all x On top of everything else going on at the moment we are absolutely devastated. In the UK all of my treatment so far has been covered by the National Health Service (NHS). I know that my SIL has not prevented me getting pregnant - it just seems very raw and unfair when she has primary amenorrhea that she has twins by IVF and then gets pregnant naturally by mistake. My HSG was normal showing that dye moved where it was supposed to. There is nothing to suggest that I have any blockages or structural anatomy issues that are preventing me getting pregnant so a lap wouldn't be helpful at this stage. We were told by our fertility doc that if clomid didn't work then we would need to be looking at IVF. At this point I'd prefer that because at least you know there is an egg and it's got a swimmer in it!! However, the NHS are really strict and you cannot get IVF treatment unless you are below a certain weight. So on top of the stress and emotional scarring caused by 4 years of infertility and my MIL having inoperable pancreatic cancer, I've now also got to push even harder to lose another 16kg! I'm not slim by any means but I am over 6' tall and am extremely fit but they don't take that into account. I've not managed to lose a gram since starting clomid, despite trying really hard - i don't know if anyone has ever heard of clomid inhibiting weight loss? I am so tempted just to give up TTC altogether and just spend our money on booze and holidays but I think we're going to give our last cycle of clomid one last shot - at least then we've tried. We may think about adoption - sadly the way the UK system works you do not get babies to adopt (only older kids).

Big. My gyno is also pushing me to ivf, I feel pressured by him each time I visit. The only issue I have is one blocked tube. Personally I am not ready to go down that route. But seeing as you've been trying for 4 years well then idk maybe it's time for that step.

Can I ask u ladies for some help determining my o day? I used a calculator to determine when I should use a HPT to test right. Anyways I assumed I o on Tuesday the 21st of April. The calculator asks for first day of last menstrual cycle which was 9th of April. Then it asked how long are my cycles and I said 26 and my LP is 14 days so it calculated that I o Wednesday 22/4 when I assumed it was Tuesday 21/4. Now if that's true which I actually think it might be bc my Ic opk was the darkest that day, which means I am only 7dpo. Ladies what do u think? Am I 7or 8 dpo.?

Emilia, either way, I think you should wait at least 2 more days and then test again! I would go by your opk. Also, I don't recall noticing any implantation pain, and I was paying tons of attention to my body. I noticed a tiny bit of cramping around my ovary the day after I believe I implanted.

TUA, I won't test anymore. Can't handle the bfn. I'll just wait now for AF to come. I'm just trying to understand when 1dpo starts? Is it straight after u o or does it start the following day..??

Good morning ladies, how exciting about possible bfps!! I love hearing about women who have struggled to get pregnant, becoming pregnant. It is very encouraging. People who get pregnant accidentally or on the first try...not so encouraging, haha. So, wishing the best for you!

I am now 10dpo, cd 25 and will not be testing. I personally don't want to because I'd like to hold out hope as long as possible, so just waiting for AF to arrive this weekend. If by some miracle no AF then I will test later next week. I am virtually symptom-less but telling myself that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Big, sorry there's so much red tape in the UK. Of course it can't be easy :/. Hang in there!
