Clomid buddies - November

Postby nsc109 » Thu Nov 12, 2015 11:11 am

Hey all,
I'm starting my second round of 100mg of Clomid - Day 2 today. Just trying to get over the let down of the first cycle being a bust :( Dr said that I reacted very well to the medication with 3 large follicles. This cycle we're going to go for the iui so fingers crossed we don't get too many follicles that they cancel!

Anyone else starting in Nov?

Usually you O 12-36 hrs after trigger. If you're already starting to surge I've read it can be as early as 12 hrs, but if not it's 36. It's not an exact science. If you triggered on Monday then the earliest O would have been Tuesday and the latest on Wednesday. So it's likely you got the window.

I know what you mean about being tired. We triggered on Tuesday and yesterday was so mandatory (just in case). My vagina is so tired! lol

Are you charting as well?

My sister in law is pregnant now, too. She decided it was time for her 8 year old daughter to have a sibling. If only it was that easy for all of us :(

I hear ya. I got news yesterday of a good friend being 7 weeks and it just feels like heartbreak...and oh so conflicting. You need to be extra happy for them so it doesnt appear bitter. But it feels awful and it's sad because others have it so easy. *sigh*
Anywaysss, on Day 3 today so fingers crossed. Good luck to you gals who have already O'd!

Ugh I know. I know a girl that got pregnant by "accident". They were celebrating her dh's birthday and didn't use birth control because they were going to start ttc the following month because it was more convenient. I was so angry - really? It's not convenient to have the child that month? Then maybe, oh I don't know - maybe you should have worn protection!!! Like any of us ttc care about when we get knocked up.

I seriously want to punch people that get pregnant after being entirely careless about birth control and then COMPLAIN about it like it's such a huge inconvenience. Like using the pull-out method and then getting mad that they ended up pregnant. f-ing really??? Were you born this stupid or did having sex break your brain? Ugh. I've got no sympathy for people who do that, I really don't. Sure birth control is a pain in the butt, but people like us would give just about anything to be in a position where it's necessary. I hate the feeling of condoms, but i'd sure as hell get used to it if it meant not having to deal with this infertility bullshit anymore lol.

Omg..same with someone i know.. She said she got pregnant by accident! And they had a whole trip planned that they had to cancel and how very inconvenient that was.. Truly its soo upsetting considering we would be absolutely thrilled to even be pregnant.. And yes it is conflicting.. I am really happy for them and wish them the best but soo wish it would happen for me too.. All the best to all of u.. Ul are in my prayers

Hi everyone,
I just joined and here's my first post! I just picked up my first round of clomid yesterday and now waiting for af (Who knows when that'll happen. Pcos means it could be any day or in a month or two still). I also started metformin again. We tried metformin a few years ago and were unsuccessful and took a break from ttc. I'm super nervous about everything and I'm hoping I can find a buddy or two to go through this with. None of my family or friends have any fertility issues and I have no one to talk to about it except dh, and we all know how helpful that can be :P Being new to this forum, I'm not really sure the rules about buddies and exchanging information, kik usernames, facebook, etc. but hopefully someone on here can enlighten me :)

Hi korah. I don't think there are many rules about exchanging information. I would just caution that you might want to do it via private messaging since the site is public and some people like to maintain their anonymity.
