korah, has your doctor talked to you about inducing your period with provera? It's a synthetic progestin that mimics the effects of progesterone. You take one 10mg pill a day for 5, 7 or 10 days (whichever your doctor prescribes) and then 2-14 days after your last pill, af comes. I've had to use it since July because the rotten hag won't come on her own lol.

I took Provera last cycle and it gave me such a painful period. Just super heavy and crampy. I know everyone is different, personally I wouldn't take it again but I don't have PCOS so I don't know which is worse! Cramps or waiting and waiting and waiting!!

Good luck to everyone! I had my last dose last night so I'm going in for my Day 10 ultrasound on Wed, and scheduled for the following 6 days to do ultrasound and bloodwork. Hopefully we have some big follies again. I'm going to start drinking POM juice tonight as well, supposed to help with lining since Clomid thins it!

No no Provera yet. I only just saw him last week so I dunno how long to wait to call. I mean it might be better to be on the metformin for a month or two anyways right? I've only been taking it for a few days. What do you guys think? My doctor didn't explain a whole lot.

Hopefully the metformin will get things moving in the next couple of months, but if not, definitely have a chat to him about your options :)

My provera periods are generally heavier than a normal period ever was for me, but I don't get them any other way when I don't ovulate so I don't really get a choice LOL

AF showed up this morning all on her own:) so CD1....I'm so excited to take my first round of clomid. Any advice from anyone? Anyone wanna be buddies? I keep finding myself wanting to talk about it all the time but I haven't shared with my family and friends that we're actively trying again so I have no one but dh to talk to. It was just too hard having everyone asking if we're pregnant yet... :(

The best advice I can give you is try to take your clomid and night so that you sleep through most of your side effects if you get any. Someone recommended that to me when I started taking it and i'm so glad they did!

I took mine at night but unintentionally regarding avoiding symptoms so that might be why I didn't have any. This is my second cycle at 100mg. I think I was most anxious about missing a dose more than anything!

Yeah I was too, nsc! I mean I put a reminder in my phone, but I am really terrible about remembering to take pills, even with reminders lmao. I never forgot the clomid though! So gold star for me LOL

Hey everyone, I'm brand new here. My mind is a jumbled mess so I figured I'd join in. I'm 35, my DH is 40 and we've been trying for approx. 1.5 year to get pregnant with our first child, though it's been off and on because I had a HSG done and surgery to remove a blockage. So, after all that was said and done.. here I am.

I'm on my first round of Clomid at 50mg on days 5-9.. OPK said I had ovulated on CD 15 or 16 (both days were positive). I'm now at 3-4 days Post Ovulation. So had some cramping on the left side at 2-3 days PO with a full abdominal feeling, a few pimples (I hardly ever break out?!) and have been really tired with cramping more centralized and shooting down. Now I'm starting to also get EWCM that I hadn't gotten before (because of clomid, maybe???) so I don't know if we need to BD again or what?! I'm so confused....
