Hi sprng. .welcome.
My own opinion is that I've always driven myself crazy with symptoms and if there is any chance they could mean anything, go for it and BD. Won't hurt!!

Clomid dried me up but everyone's different!

Hi guys! Hope you don't mind me joining in! I have been a stalker of this forum for over a year now and finally decided to join.

Little quick info on me: My name is Kimberly and I am engaged to a wonderful Sheriff's Deputy here in Augusta, GA and we are trying to conceive what will be the first little one for both of us. I am 31 and my fiance is 34 so we are ready to get this TTC train rolling!

I took my first round of clomid 50mg, back in July and we conceived, but had a miscarriage September 17th and it was heart-breaking! My OB decided to give me Provera this time to induce my cycle, since I have PCOS and sometimes go a year with 1 or less cycles naturally. First Clomid cycle we didn't induce a period. This time she prescribed the Provera for 5mg/10days and I started AF on day 6 so discontinued the Provera and started my Clomid CD3-7. I am now on CD12 and chart using Kindara and FF and have not noticed anything so far, but hoping that ovulation is approaching. This is my first cycle temping, so I hope I am doing it right!

I am glad to have some TTC buddies because I was driving myself just about nuts going through all this anxiety alone! My Fiance is very supportive, but sometimes you just want to share with women who know what you are going through.

Good morning,

I am new to this so I am not familiar with the acronyms. I went to my initial infertility consultation yesterday and was prescribed Clomid 2 pills a day 50 MG apiece during CD 5-9. Since that has passed for me I have to wait to start in December. My cycles are regular and I ovulate usually on CD 14 but this cycle I did not ovulate at all so I'm assuming that's why I was prescribed Clomid. I have already a 14 and almost 6 year old. My 14 year old is from a previous relationship and after I had my daughter I've been on birth control first Mirena and then the depo. It has been a year and 10 months now we have tried naturally. The last 5 months I have been tracking my ovulation to be sure that I am ovulating and the last 3 months was our attempt to get pregnant based on ovulation . This the next step...both my husband and I are 33 and my infertility is unexplained. So just looking for advice, support and best practices. Thank you all in advance.

Hi Flybutter and nonchalant, welcome - everyone has been amazing on this forum for me and it does help to just put it out there - whatever you feel and have people completely understand it all.
Fingers crossed for everyone!

Welcome to both of you! I just got prescribed clomid 50mg toov and today is CD5 and I get to take my first pill! I'm so nervous and excited. I'm going to take it before bed like everyone has been suggesting, to avoid the worst of the side effects and I hope that helps.

Flybutter - I have pcos too and know your frustrations. Took so long for AF to start on its own:( and I'm getting close to 29 and haven't even been pregnant once after 5 years of trying:( so I know what you mean about wanting to get this ttc train going heh heh heh

If anyone on here wants to chat in a little bit more real time, I'm desperate for a buddy, someone to talk to through this craziness:( We could email, facebook, or kik message...I dunno. My hubby is very understanding too but I definitely need some women to talk to who understand. No one in my life is dealing with this, not my mom or sisters or friends, everyone's pregnant or has a baby, and it just gets so lonely.
Good luck to everyone!

Welcome ladies! The more the merrier! This place really is amazing when it comes to support and understanding. You don't realize just how much you need it until you start posting here and talking about everything, and it just feels so much better. Husbands/wives/partners are great and all but they really don't understand completely even though they try. It's through no fault of their own, but they just can't offer the same support as people who are actually living through the same struggles as you. So it's really fantastic to have somewhere to come for that!

The worst part about ttc is all of the god damn waiting! Waiting for AF to come, waiting for AF to leave, waiting to ovulate, waiting to test. It's awful lol! Like there's a couple of days of excitement thrown in there (when AF finally gets here, when you start a new round of clomid, when you finally ovulate, maybe if/when you get implant bleeding) and the rest is just literally waiting for something to happen.

Shae, YES! This wait is killing me! It is always something, isn't it!?

Can someone explain to me what a coverline is and how to determine it on my chart? I think I am just about to ovulate. XD
EWCM last night big time and slight cramping and EWCM tonight with a slight rise in temp, but not a huge spike.

I had been charting with Kindara on my phone, but seeing all you ladies posting your FF charts made me decide to check that one out, I copied all my info over from Kindara, and I must say, FF is MUCH better! So much more detailed and it will detect my O, which Kindara does not do the cross-hair thing, I love it!

Hi, Prasha! Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well! Maybe have DH take care of business himself and then you can well, you know... do your own little insemination without having to BD while sick? Just a thought, lol! What CD are you now? Maybe you'll feel better and can get that baby dance in before you O, good luck, hun!

Don't count yourself out yet! I'm also on Clomid and probably just ovulated today CD17 (10 days after last pill) based on my symptoms! I feel a little bad because my SO had a bad toothache and I told him we HAD to, but I put on a movie* for him so I think that helped lmao! I hope your honey gets better soon, with a temp of 103 I hope he is seeing his DR!

And I see you took Clomid CD5-9, have you had EWCM yet? Monitoring your temps? They like to say you will most likely O 5-10 days after the last dose, which would make CD19 for you, and some women ovulate even later on Clomid than the 5-10 days!

How is everyone doing?

I'm halfway through my course of provera.. Then I wait for AF to arrive and then I start my 3rd round of clomid. Reeeeally not looking forward to it lol. If this round doesn't work, i'm taking a break for 3 months and going back on vitex.
