Clomid Post-Miscarriage

Postby Flybutter » Wed Nov 25, 2015 8:24 pm

I took 50mg Clomid in mid July without inducing a period (PCOS) and conceived, but we lost the baby at 8 weeks in September. This time we induced a period with Provera and I took Clomid CD 3-7 and am now on CD12 and awaiting ovulation. I would like to know (feeling hopeless) for those of you who have taken Clomid and also experienced a loss, did anyone conceive immediately following the first Clomid cycle, with Clomid being used the second round as well? It would be great to hear if so!

Hey, girl! You and I are in the same boat! I got pregnant late July/early August and then miscarried at 7 weeks 3 days on September 5, 2015. I was just given the okay to try again from my doctor even though he normally suggests to wait 2 cycles, and I only had one, which was induced by Provera. I haven't even finished taking the Clomid yet, so I don't have an answer for you, but our stories are so similar I wanted to respond anyway.

I feel like the worst person in the world because yesterday was thanksgiving and I was sitting next to my friend who found out she was pregnant the weekend I miscarried and she's due the month after I was, and she's showing. I do have so much to be thankful for, but these last few months have been really hard. I hope the next few months will be better.

Good luck!

Hi Seattle! Don't feel bad for feeling down/jealous because your friend is starting to show in her pregnancy. Those are perfectly normal emotions following a miscarriage and does not make you a bad friend or an ungrateful person, it just makes you human! Keep your head up, hun! Good luck to us both!
