Just curious to what the majority it was actually prescribed for......

Any input would help!

Unexplained infertility

Postby irishsweetie2003 » Wed Oct 03, 2007 4:16 pm

I have two children by a previous marriage, and so I know I can concieve. My husband has had a sperm test done, and every thing was perfectly fine... But my periods are off alot by 24-34 days apart... My ovulation is off.... So they mentioned that I might be producing underdeveloped folicles because of this. They think the clomid will give me healthier eggs, and possibly more eggs so that I have a better chance.. Next month I start.... Right now I'm going through my TWW with out clomid hoping my body does it alone... next month will be 100mg of clomid.... Yeah, you heard me right. RE says he rarely sees some one take to it on a lower dose after TTC for 3 years, so he's sending me in full throttle...
Well, could really use any support out there from any one willing to lend a hopeful story... My husband has never been a father, other then an already made father with my two boys (which he's awsome at). I need hope.... We both need hope....

I was recently prescribed 50 mg days 5-9. I already ovulate regulary so not really sure why the GYN thinks this is going to help? But I will try anything at this point (TTC #1 18 months) Did this work for anyone else or am I wasting my time??
