Progesterone levels -- Post yours here!

Postby bremaura » Sun Feb 26, 2006 4:50 pm

For those of us that are on clomid and getting progesterone levels at cd21-23 I was hoping we could have a forum to post our results!

My progesterone last cycle pre-clomid was 5.2 and this cycle (50mg cd5-9) my progesterone was 6.2.

Obviously my levels are not good. How about yours?

Progesterone levels -- Post yours here!!

Postby bremaura » Mon Feb 27, 2006 7:49 am

Tamara - your levels indicate that you ovulated so there is always a chance you could be pg. When I got pg with DD my 21 day progesterone test was 7.4! There is always hope until the witch shows.

Trubie - I didn't start the cream as Dr says he has a plan. My clomid will go up to 100mg this month and if that doesn't raise my progesterone he will lower the clomid back to 50 and provide me with "progesterone support", whatever that means! Thanks for remembering me! :)

HI Vicki,
On medication (clomid) some Drs like 12 and above. Without medication 10 is good......

Sometimes I think its worse to know what your level is...but I always want to know....

to the previous poster will they give you provera to induce af?

My Dr said on the clomid he wanted to see 18-19 (that is a long way for me). Anything over 5 means you ovulated.

Elle's 31 meant she was PG so let's pray for numbers like that!! :)

My progesterone was 34 at 7dpo. BFN. on 50mg of clomid and i developed a cyst (third cycle)

RE said that high progesterone, especially on clomid, doesn't mean PG necessarily and he was right.

Wannapeanut is right. Prog doesn't equal guaranteed BFP (but if you do get PG, I think it helps a sticky bean)

My prog one year ago in March 2005, after my first round of clomid 50mg, cd5-9 was 132.5! And I got a :bfn: that cycle.

I just got the results from my bloodwork from cd21 and my prog. level was 5.8. I know that is low. Should I ask to start clomid or do you think my dr. will recommend it. Is clomid common treatment for people with low prog? I'm just anxiuos to get the show on the road. Thanks to anyone who can help.
