7dpo... Too early to be triphasic?

Postby MarleyMama » Tue Jan 26, 2016 8:18 am

Hey ladies! I'm new to this site but have stalked a good bit during my past six months TTC#2. However, this is only my second month charting. I have really long cycles and am still not very good at interpreting my charts but I know last months chart didn't look like this. I don't want to get my hopes up but does anyone think this could be triphasic? And if so, does it really make a difference in determining if you get a BFP or not? I would appreciate any input. Baby dust to all!!!

It looks good but a chart really isn't considered triphasic till after 7 dpo so if you temps remain high like your last it would be considered triphasic in a couple days. Good luck!

98.45... So just .01 down from yesterday. I don't want to get my hopes up. I've been telling myself that the triphasic pattern started before 7dpo so it's just a wacky month that will follow with AF in a few days.

This is only my second cycle charting but my last cycle was 39 days long and my LP was 12 days. Today I'm 8dpo and it's cd42.

Long cycles are the worst!! How long have you been ttc? Do you happen to have pcos?

I don't know if I have PCOS. I've never been diagnosed. Does my chart look like a PCOS chart? After a two month whirlwind romance with my DH, I found out I was pregnant with my DD who is 6 years old now. So I never thought I'd have trouble conceiving since I got pregnant with her so fast, without trying to. After she was born, I got the Paragard IUD and just had it removed in August 2015. So, we've been trying for #2 since then.

No I just wondered with you having long cycles. I have pcos and before I lost a bunch of weight I had much longer cycles. I went off the pill in August as well. Sept was my first month of ttc number 5. It took four years for number one then the next two we were NTNP. The fourth I tried one month with Opks. I was very surprised at it only taking that long. I was on bcp for four months before ttc this one. I missed o on one month for sure since I got a false positive on a digital. My first month of charting was totally wacko. Second month went better and this month is so much easier. Fxd for you! When do you plan on testing?

Fxd for you too! I could be very possible that I have PCOS, I'm a good bit overweight. Something I seriously need to work on. Congrats on losing weight, it's so much harder to do than most people think. I don't know if I will test anytime soon. I'm trying to decide what I would rather see, a BFN or a major temp drop. Both make for a pretty crappy start to your day. At least when your temp plummets, you know for a fact AF is on her way. When I get a BFN, I spend all day trying to rationalize in my head that I probably just tested too early and so on and so forth. So this time I think if my temps are still high on 14dpo (Tuesday, 2/2/16) then I'll test. So how many dpo are you? Did you do anything in particular to lose weight?

I'm still waiting to o. I don't o till cd18/20. I'm only on cd13. So much waiting around in ttc. Lol I had weight loss surgery in 2012. I wasn't overly huge but qualified bc I had just crossed over the diabetic line and that qualified me. I had tried many many times and many diff things to no avail. I was so fed up and when I found out my insurance covered it I went for it. I had a complication which is rare but ended up healing just fine. I would've done a hundred times over even with the complication. My life and health has improved drastically!! I hadn't planned on having any more kids afterwards but when I was 33 we thought we'd try for one more. I thought we were done after that as well. Well here we are again trying for our fifth and final.

I know bfns are so frustrating. I have always tested early but this month I'm really going to try and hold out. I don't have any tests and I'm not buying them this month. Well I have 1 left but it's not a sensitive one.

That's awesome! My husband and I both need to start doing something to get some weight off. I'm sure that would help us conceive easier. Well I woke up excited this morning and against my better judgement tested with a Wondfo and got a BFN. Stupid idea, I wish I would have never done that. Now I'm bummed out and discouraged. I should have just stuck to my plan of waiting to test. I wish I could give up on all this charting and OPK's and just let it happen but I can't. The backache I had yesterday has gone away and I have a big pimple on my chin now so I'm sure AF is coming. Joy joy! Fxd for you! I hope you get your BFP!

Your only 9 dpo though right?? Still way early you still have time for bfp! I know it's so hard to not do those things when you "know" too much info. Lol my babies I conceived without trying were soooo much easier. Lol

My Dh had surgery as well and it's so much easier for both of us.
