Happy Friday to everyone........Long holiday weekend coming.... YIPPEE. Me, I will be home all weekend with the DH taking care of him. YAWN, We are expecting a rain out all weekend anyway as we are getting the remnants of Hurricane Isaac, so not complaining as we need the rain desperately. :)

Shanessa- Thanks for the info on the testosterone and cleanse. I will for sure be doing some reading up on those items.

Tiff- Glad today is better. :D..... BD party for you all weekend LOL.

TTC- ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW. Seems VERY promising. Please let us know right away. I will pray hard for you.

Lucky- I was just pondering your other thread question. How long will I TTC????? Wow thats a hard one, I think for me, it will be until I no longer want to or can. I never want to have the "what if's" haunt me but thats just me.

AFM..... feeling a bit down, today I have plentiful EWCM and asked DH if he though he could perform today since I am in the window, he said he would try, but couldnt guarentee it would be exciting for me....LOL, god love this man for giving it his all. But I have this sad nagging kind of "why bother" feeling since finding out about the whole testosterone issue. Terrible of me I know... But I just cant help it. I suppose its still possible to get knocked up (LOL) but certainly this spins a little different now until we can get it addressed. I know, I will move forward and take one for the team  ......why oh why can this not be easier, my life in every other aspect is so perfect except for this piece of it..

Ok enough of that... Happy Labor Day everyone, (if you celebrate that in your country) I probably wont check back in until Tuesday AM.

TONS OF BABY DUST TO US ALL.....
Me: 44 DH: 45

Hello Everyone,

Here is a link for the AMH info:
http://www.drmalpani.com/amh.htm

His chart for fertility levels is for women under 38 and need to be adjusted for TTC in our 40s. When I did the test a couple of months ago, I was 1.1 AMH and my RE and OB both thought this was really good.

TTC#2 -I will definitely be thinking good thoughts for you on Sunday!! Best wishes.

Tiffany -Glad your OPK is getting darker! I got my positive last night at 8 p.m. -and yes, I know the exact time because I am a POAS-aholic and start checking every 3 hours when the opk starts getting darker!!!! I am guessing you will get your positive very soon! Definitely time to BD!

Lucky Jules -good luck watching those symptoms. It is really amazing how aware of our bodies we get in the 2ww!

Second Chance -I am sorry to hear of the testosterone worries. I do hope that it is nothing to worry about and you can keep moving forward. Any signs of O yet? It does sound like a few of us have cycles that are lining up! Best of luck to you!

AFM, Cycle day 14. Waiting for O -probably tonight or tomorrow. Timing BD just right! Fingers crossed!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Ok last time I will bore you with my numbers (this month) lol ... first I figured we would cover our basis and BD Thurday and Friday night when my DH decided to have company over on Thursday (I was so mad) and Friday we did but he didn't ejac ... WTH!!! So he had no ejac prior to IUI but still his numbers were good ... 58 million pre wash and 82 million post wash (20 million is considered normal or healthy). My DH and DS were there for the insemination (no worries I was draped and my DH and DS were sitting at the head of the bed talking to me the whole time (so nothing tramatic or future nightmares for my DS) ... I just wanted them there for support and last time I had a successful IUI they were both there too (and when I got pregnant with my DS my DH was there). Fate is how I am looking at it.

The issue I had was that FF stated I O'd CD 11 (I tempted at 5:30 a.m.) and my IUI was on CD 13 (Sunday) I was freaking out but after discussing with my RE I decided to manually override FF because:

1. Ultrasound on CD11 still showed follicles in tact (at 6:30 a.m.);
2. bloodwork showed elevated estogren not elevated progesterone
3. I have O cramps starting at 2:00 a.m. on CD13 (Sunday/IUI day) and I always have cramps before O
4. I had + OPK's CD 12 (satuday night) and + OPK CD 13 (Sunday at noon)
5. I triggered (LH surge/Ovidrel) on CD 11
6. My cervix was high soft and open CD13 and CD 14 it was High Medium and Closed
7. I had EWCM on CD 13
8. My RE said the meds will cause my temps to do weird things and not to worry about it.

So why am I still freaking?????

Yeah, ttc....I think you def O'd on cd13 or 14. Your RE sounds pretty accurate especially with that history of pos opk and u/s. I really don't think you have anything to worry about! And awesome sperm count. You have the best chance I have seen on here (in two years). FX for you dear!

afm...2dpo today! This side of month is not fun but it is better then waiting to O. We bd like crazy this weekend..so hopefully we caught that egg :)!

2nd chance - you just never know what could happen. BDing is never wasted during the fertile time. One little spermie can catch a good CM wave and ride it all the way to the promised land! Woo hoo :jump:

Hoopla/Tiff - catch that egg! Yeeha! :wiggle:

TTC2 - you have made a good (GREAT) case for O on CD13. FF is not infallible. BTW..if the world ever was doomed to end and we needed a few good people to repopulate the human race on another planet, I am voting for your DH.

AFM - I am sitting here in pain... not completely sure of why. I am taking a page from TTC2's book and trying to be scientific about this. I am CD8 with O not due until this weekend. Plus, I never get O pain. Besides the pain is the stomach and moving downward. I have been doing a fertility cleanse and fertility self masssage and I have to say that I am being emptied (and I don't just mean urine - tmi) :omg: So maybe this is something passing through the intestines on its way out? Dunno. I just hope it catches the express train on its way.

Yup - You are supposed to start CD6. I was cutting it close since I got the stuff in the mail CD5. I am on CD8 now.

It is just some herbal tea (2x a day), a liver cleanse supplement (2x a day) and some milk thistle seed tincture (2x a day in water). At night I do the fertility massage while laying in bed, sometimes watching TV. Takes maybe 45 minutes in total (30 minutes just applying heat to the abdominal area with a hot water bottle or heating pad). When it is all done, I will let you know if I recommend it.

The pain has moved further down so I do believe it is something passing through the intestines. Not sure I am looking forward to the - ahem - final output :omg:

What cleanse are you using .. did you buy it on line? Can you post the link? Sorry for all the questions but I must have missed you were trying a new cleanse.

Here is the fertility cleanse link:

BTW - the output was not bad at all.

I am likely out this month. This weekend would be my O. Yesterday I tried gauging DHs interest in BDing (a little advance recon  ). He says he is really in pain :( . He has a doc appt today and we shall see what comes of it. I'm hoping this is something short term and quick to resolve...both for his sake and our ttc efforts.

If we can do something next month, I am hoping for a little bday present conception since I will be turning 42 (:shh: ) in October. Sigh. When I planned out my life at age 12 (yeah, I am a long range thinker ), I never thought I would still be ttc in my forties.

shanessa91 I turn 42 in 5 days .. I too thought I would have a whole hockey team (I wanted at least 4 children ever since I can remember - side effect of being an only child) long before now as when you are younger (before 12) 40 is like ancient or ready for wheelchair age.... but truly my DH and I had our first child 2 months before my 40th birthday and although it did take us 6 years (we got married when I was 33 he was 26 and I have been off birth control ever since our wedding day) to have have a child to term - we appreciate our family now more than we ever would. We are more mature, settled in our careers, financially better off (Financially stable may be pushing it) and we appreciate what we have in life.

Our son is a blessing and I am sure you will be blessed also.

I know if we had our son in my early 30's we wouldn't be as nuturing, patient and supportive as we are now. Not that we wouldn't have been good parents in my early 30's it's just that the maturity wasn't as great... knowing the journey we had to take to get pregnant and sustain a pregnancy has made us more appreciative of what we have.

Your time will come ... great things happen to great people.

TTC2 - Thank you for the encouraging, warm words and sharing your story. I am hoping that your successful cycle results in two little surprises :omg: so that you are that much closer to your hockey team! :)

LJ - your chart is looking good and steady. :) You tested already! Your recent lp length seems to be about 11 - 12 days. I don't think you should test until day 11 because that will likely be the best chance to see a good result. CD9 is definitely early but I know you couldn't resist.

AFM - My :o: is being wasted. Looks like it will be tomorrow or Saturday. I already have my EWCM which occurs a day or two before O. Temps are nice and low waiting for the surge. Even though I knew I would be out this month since DH is having some medical issues, it is so hard to know another opportunity is slipping by. :(

Oh well, I will be routing for all you ladies to have some September success. Rah, rah :jump:  :jump: :bfp: :fingersx: :bfp: :jump: :jump: rah, rah
