Hi Ladies,

Just reading along. Not much to report. Having the heaviest period of my life at the moment -must be the post-D&C thing..... I don't remember this happening with my first D&C before I conceived my son. Not sure what normal is at this point!

Tiffany, not sure if you will check in tonight, but wanted to wish you well tomorrow. I am so glad that you are getting help and taking off a couple of days. And to get away for the holiday sounds perfect! Check back in when you are up for it -we'll be here! Hugs to you!

Empire Rose, thanks for starting a new thread. Welcome to your 2WW! Great that you got you pos opk so on time -a really good thing, I think!!

Hope everyone else is doing well!

CD 10 here. No pos OPK yet but temps are looking helpful I think. If anyone wants to stalk my chart and chime in with an opinion that would be great. Testing twice a day today, tomorrow, Wed and Thursday so I don't miss the surge. I'm a little worried that I'm not ovulating but I am getting twinges on both sides since yesterday several hours apart....

Empire Rose.

These 2 week waits are making me exhausted. Im beginning to want to stop. Its not like last month where i would see a baby and want to fight on, i feel defeated.
On a off note. Last preg/miscarriage i dreamnt of dead fish?
I had a dream of fish in a pond that were alive...2 nights ago...it may just be my sub con WISHING really really really hard. I have , NOT ONE ,NOT ONE EFFIN symptom of anything,, not a burp or a fart or a heartburn or a sweat.
Feeling through and off and done

jenni good luck, hoopla same to you and luvs dogs and all my virtual friends....

Hi girls!

I'm new so can I join you all?

We started TTC last month and did the charting thing but then it got too stressful and messed up my sleep so this month I didn't chart until I got a positive OPK on CD 12 or 13 which was on Friday 11/16. So my OPK was positive on Friday at 5pm and then turned negative Saturday at 3pm. So We BD'ed Friday, Sat and Sunday. My temps jumped from 97.75 Sat, to 97.84 Sun to 98.38 Mon. So this confirmed that I O'ed sometime over the weekend! This AM I woke up with a massive headache and slight temps 99.4. So I don't know if I'm coming down w/ something. At least it didn't happen when I was O'ing so I am thankful for that.

Hopefully we'll all get our BFPs this month!

Welcome Noregrets..... We are a great group to throw things off of.

Empire..... hope this is your month. Loving the fact that your cycles look nice and consistant right now.

Tiff..... You are in my thoughts today and I was thinking of you.... I hope you can feel the energy of our group surrounding you right now. :hugs:

Hoopla.... maybe this will be a good month for you, get your system all cleared out and ready for the BFP.

Fitt Blonde... Was thinking about you this morning, and thinking this is delivery week correct??? Please let us know when your precious baby has arrived.

Jenni.... Have you tried checking CM, I find that HUGELY helpful to me since my temps dont rise immediatlely after O, I am flat for a couple of days and then rise, CM checking is critical for me to tell.

momof2girls..... I think we all can relate to how you are feeling. The mental part is the worse..... Hang in there and feel free to vent anytime. We all need that here and there..... Sat. night I had a dream I met another man and we did the deed and then I got pregnant and didnt know who the father was. When I woke up I was so glad it was a dream. Mind you, I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER consider doing that, that thought would never even enter my mind, it was just such a vivid dream, so I am hoping maybe its one of those BFP dreams you hear some women have before they get their BFP......LOL

AFM- DPO9, temps are nice and high. Will test on Thursday if temps are still high.. Fingers crossed I get my "thanksgiving day surprise to share"

Momof2,

I totally understand how you feel. I just got back from seeing a Fertility Specialist. He seemed happy to deliver some very harsh news. He basically told us that at our age (me 42, DH 45) that we have slim or none chance of conceiving naturally on our own. He said that even if everything is in perfect working order, we have a 1% chance of conceiving per cycle! He went on to say that we have 3 options

a. Accept that we may never have a 3rd child (if we do nothing)
b. Adopt
c. Donor egg for IVF

DH and I are in shock right now. I don't even know what to say to that! :(

Thanks Empire Rose!

I'll just wait to see what my FSH and DH's SA come back as and then we'll take it from there. DH does NOT want to go the Donor egg route. He likes how our kids came out so that's not an option for us. So we'll see. Thanks for your encouragement! Hope you will O soon!!

No regrets- welcome! I am stunned by what he said too! Everyone over 40 should have a doc like mine- he reminds me all the time that his mom had him at 40 and his brother at 43! So, he doesn't put much stock in stats!

Momof2girls- I think almost all of us on this forum have had their "throw in the towel" posts! We're all here to pick you up and cheer you on!

Jenni and ER- happy bding to all of us! Sounds like we will be within a cpl days of each other.

Second chance- I hope you get your turkey day bfp!

Hoopla- I recall my first AF after my d&e being heavy. They have gone back to "normal". Same length as before, same flow, and same number of days of flow.

Afm- nothing to report. I am just bding covering days around O since i never feel O i just know it is typically cycle day 17. I want to concentrate less on what dpo I am this month. Well, an idea anyway! I think I feel a little more relaxed! Forgive me if I missed anyone!

Hi Everyone
Happy Tuesday

Jenny and momof2, Lots of O out there going on right now for you 2..... Hope you both catch it. and hey, why not, pregnancy in the 40s by proof of this board is HIGHLY likely.

No Regrets- Seriously, you need another Dr. if your Dr doesnt believe its possible he will not make every effort to make it happen. DUMP HIS SORRY SELF. what a jerk...

Empire- Still possible you already did O but missed it. I did last month and tested and it never did show positive but my temps and CM said otherwise. I think I just had to much water during those days and my urine was to diluted to pick it up. I am not one that can hold it for hours.

Luv- Have fun with the BDing...LOL on the DPO thing, I tired that as well, its so hard to follow thru on that.

AFM- CD10- tomorrow is the day, my months of charting now tell me that tomorrow is the "know for sure day what is going on day". Always on day 10-12 I see day afer day of dropping temp decreases and then AF on days 13. So if my temp rebounds tomorrow or at least doesnt decrease again from today, I will feel very hopeful.... if temps are up in AM I will go ahead and test. Fingers crossed everyone and please say Baby Dust prayers for me. :) (thought I feel a bit PSM crampy today, but that could go either way at this point I guess.) UGH.......The agony.

One more note: A weird thing for me. I went for a run this past Saturday and TMI here..... was slightly peeing myself during my run. That has never happened to me before. Anyone have any idea what that is about??? (and no, I did not drink anything before I went, the run was at 8a in the morning)

Wow! So many of you at ovulation! I hope you all catch the golden egg this cycle!

Second Chance -I always have really vivid wild dreams when I've gotten pregnant! I am thinking that your dream is a really good sign. Fingers crossed for you!!

No regrets- Welcome! I have to chime in too in regards to switching your doctor! I can't believe that he is so negative. 1% ?!?!? Besides it being really negative, I don't think that is even correct! I hope you aren't letting him get you down.

TTC#2at42: Hope all is well with you!

FittBlonde: Wishing you all the best in your delivery week! Enjoy this very beautiful (exhausting) time!

AFM -nothing to report. My period has finally calmed down a bit. Currently on CD5.

Best wishes to everyone!
