Hoopla...thank YOU for posting..I woke up today thinking about you..I was going to pm you if hadn't. I am totally stalking you!! What WONDERFUL news on the u/s. I think the measuring accurately and the heartbeat..my dear it sounds like you are in the clear and your take home baby is a brewing...SO HAPPY!!!

Apples, I am on 100mg Clomid. With dd I did 3cycles of 50mg and then one cycle of 100mg and got preggos. With mc it was the second cycle of 100mg that got the bfp. I am SO HOPING AND PRAYING it is just this one with the O after mc that hits! I am already having bloating on cd8..are you? I can't remember when it starts or stops. I think that might be a good sign..maybe big fat eggs are making themselves...heehee. Sorry about the virus..no fun..boo on that.

second, we are in this together...we start our bd marathon on Sunday. We will get there. Then we will be in the dreaded tww..ugh on that too. But, we are going to remain POSITIVE about this..we are going to get a bfp in Jan 2013..dammit..haha!
Re Clomid...yes I O on my own too. However, my OB put me on it after 3months of ttc without success ONLY because I was 39 at the time. Well, after two preg it is hard to not be a believer. So, if I were you, yes I would ask about it.

Shanessa, where are you?? How are you?? Update..my mom missed the insurance deadline by one day..so sad :(. But, thank you for all of your help.

Jenni...YAY for temp spike..can't wait for 1/1/13!!! I see bfp in your future...FX!!!

afm...Christmas at home was good and stress free (after we got over the stomach bug)...that is a first..but that is what happens when my family is not involved..so sad. Or I should just say when my mom/stepdad arent' involved . Hoping to take the tree down this weekend and get bd marathon started on Sunday (cd10). I prob won't start using opk's until cd11. I was actually al ittle shocked by my af..it was pretty normal..I just figured it would be horrendous. Hoping that is a good sign. So, I did take 100mg Clomid; last dose last night. I didn't tell Dh. Not that he would care but for some reason the less people I tell and the less of a deal I make of it maybe it won't be so stressful..that prob won't work but it sounds good right now. I am also not taking the Estradiol and Progesterone like OB usually perscribes with the Clomid. The PA is the one that called in the Clomid and didn't call in the other two so I just figured I'm going with that. I will get a progesterone draw if I get a bfp and will start if needed.
Looking forward to NYE and NYD. We are actually going to do some alone time !!!! NYE we are going to this nice restarunt for dinner..just me and dh..we have reservations and it is a set menu. Then on NYD, we are going to lunch and a movie with friends. We NEED this; we need to have some FUN. We haven't in awhile. Last time we went out to lunch and movie alone was with mc and we need to change that memory. SO, I am pretty excited about it!!!!

Have a GREAT weekend ladies!!!

Hello everyone.

Tiffany lol yes, I get bloated and feel like I am producing dinosaur eggs when on the clomid! So hope this is it for you and you get pg just like that.

AFM, Darn it, I think I o'd earlier and that today is my first day of temp rise and to make matters worse, we could not do it last night  DH had the worst headache (lol isn't that supposed to be the woman's excuse?) and there was no way it was going to happen (well unless I turned into Elizabeth Hurley (his secret girlfriend) in a negligee),. Will DTD tonight in case today's rise was a freak temp rise, but really you just kind of know when you have o'd and missed it.

Ugh I just don't know what is going on. I have had the worst EVER o pains today. I mean doubled over kind of o pains. Perhaps I have not o'd yet? FF always has me down for o'ing on cd 16 on all my other charts but this month it seems different. I feel like I am producing ten eggs! Called the specialists office and asked them if this is normal and they said "yes". Crikey!

Apples, are you using OPK's??? Is this your first cycle on Clomid? Opains like that are normally a VERY GOOD thing! Nice size egg usually :). I remember feeling with dd. When I go thru a cycle and don't feel it (on Clomid) makes me nervous. I'm glad you got the extra bd in. Hopefully that nice large egg is fertilized moving on to your uterus to implant..FX.

afm..thinking I got a pos OPK this morning..but I never trust fmu with ic until I see another one that same day. I know the smiley face kind would have given me a pos. We did have some wonderful bd last night..so hopeful!

Postby shanessa91 » Wed Jan 02, 2013 8:33 am

Hi Ladies. Took some time off from posting during the holidays.

Happy New Year :balloons:

I am expecting great things in 2013. I got pregnant with my son in an odd numbered year (2007) so maybe 2013 will be my time. 2009 I had to deal with a D&C in Feb, fibroid surgery in August and DH had a hernia in latter part of the year. 2011 I had to put ttc on the back burner since I had to find a new job b/c my position was relocated to PA after 10 years in NYC. Also my dad died in Feb so kind of put a pall on the ttcing.

So I am excited to welcome 2013! :welcome:

Tiff - ONE day! I cannot believe it. That is just so wrong. I hope something else works out for your mom. :( Yay on the normal cycle. I truly hope that leads to a 9 month BFP for you now.

Apples - your cycle is really rocking and rolling this month. Maybe stress?!? :? I am sure things will even out over the next few days. Seems like you will maximize your chances at that egg no matter what. It is so frustrating that our charts only reveal things on a historical basis not while we are in it. Hang in there!

Second - maybe last months chart was a nice warm up to the real thing this month! That would be so awesome. Congrats on the IPad. Santa (DH) was good to you!

Hoopla - Excellent news! I remember crying like a baby when the tech told me she saw the heartbeat for my ds. I had 2 early mc (one blighted ovum) up to that point and no heartbeats. You must be so excited...and so nervous too.It wont be easy living on eggshells but don't deny yourself the joy of reveling in each positive sign. Soon you will have that fresh, sweet little one in your arms. :D Remember, only good things in 2013. Keeping you in my prayers.

Jenni - I saw your chart. So sorry that it wasn't your month. :hugs: But....there is a new, fresh year upon us. Good things, good things are a comin'.

AFM - cd11. I am going for an HSG this a.m. upon the advice of my RE. I likely will not be undergoing any more fertility treatments but wanted to know where my tubes stand. I am hopeful that there wont be too much cramping involved (this will be my third and I don't recall any from the others). I am scheduled to ovulate tomorrow so I am hoping that the dye clears everything out and DH and I will be busy tonight, cramping or not. I can't forgo this opportunity at a possible clear shot at the eggie. Assuming the tubes are still open and not too convuluted (previous issue). Here's hoping!

Tiff- So GREAT about your SD... that is AWESOME news.. mircles do happen. Feeling good about this month for you... just have this feeling it may happen for you..

Apples- I dont think you have O'ed yet. Keep the BD up until you see 3 days of high temps to be sure you did O. I missed it one month because I was confused by my chart.. are you checking your CM?? that tells me a TON..

Shanessa- Good luck with the tests, my nurse told me she had that done and got preg. that month... FINGERS CROSSED for you......

AFM- CD12 for me, having EWCM now so I know I almost to O... doing BD every other day this cycle, I have read that every 36 hrs (and I think Hoopla said the same thing) is the best so I will try that this month...... Especially given DH motility issue, I also was reading online over the weekend and saw that men taking testosterone while TTC is not a good idea, so I promptly had DH stop that. He has 8 days in his system, so I hope that doesnt hurt us any.. UGH.. I just cant seem to catch a break or the egg............ I sort of feel lost right now, not sure what to do or what direction to go. Guess I need to make an appt with my Dr. and see what she says, just so wanted this to happen on my own, without help. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer today, just not feeling very hopeful right now..

Hi to everyone else.. :)

Hello ladies!

Firstly to Tiffany - how awesome about your stepdad. God is indeed good and does answer prayers! :D

I don't use opks (I used to though) because I always used to O on CD16 but as you can see from my chart this month - things are pretty loopy! I think I did drop the egg yesterday because all of those pains I was having have stopped now thank goodness and boobs are sore which normally happens after I O so I was a couple of days late and yes, I think will all of the Christmas and New Years stress and the Clomid, things were later than usual. My temp jumped this morning, so I will see what the next few days bring temp wise - hopefully they will stay up there and we have caught the egg.

I googled "delayed ovulation with clomid" and it seems that this is quite common for some women so I feel reassured that all is normal.

Second Chance - yay for EWCM - I never get any of that- I get watery down there but have never had that  I'm such a dried up old lady now lol! so your Dh has a motility issue too with the sperm? Mine too - he was "fixed" lol for 20 years and we got it reversed last year. I have him on Zinc, selenium and some other herbal things.

I do understand what you say when you say that feel lost right now - I would find a good Doc who specializes in all of this and get some answers. Fx for you.

Shanessa - yay for 2013! Hope this is your lucky year.

EOE - Hello and come say Hi!

AFM, so temp rose this morn, but I am not talking to my chart lol! The O pains stopped which coincided with the temp dip so we'll just see. We DTD again but like SC says, it is hard with low sperm counts and when to DTD.

Other news - I have started on Weight Watchers and I love it! I was doing another plan called Slimming World which I also liked but I prefer WW and it is more flexible. By this time next year I want my weight gone and to be holding a baby in my arms! Come on girls - we can do it!

Hi Ladies!

Do you girls have to log in each time you want to post? Didn't used to be that way. hmm

Anyway...

Tiff - Awesome news about your stepdad! That is the best. I am glad things are looking up for the family.

Second - I know what you mean. Everytime you hear something that worked for someone else you start thinking you need to try it...or maybe not try it. There should be a clear guidebook for ttc. :?

Apples - Good temp rise. I do hope it hangs up there. I am "on" WW also although honestly, I don't follow it religiously. I need to though. The last time I stuck to it I lost 20 pounds and ended up pregnant within 9 months. I definitely think weight is playing a role with my fertility as I am the heaviest I have ever been.

Where is everyone else?

AFM - CD12. Had the HSG with a fabulous radiologist. Right tube open no convolution. :D Left tube open, possible convolution at the end or dilation. :? He said he needed to study the films a little more before he could say for sure about the left. I am estatic though. I have been doing fertility massage to try to straighten out those tubes and for a month I took Wobenzym N to eradicate any scar tissue build up. Looks like it might have worked. Temp dip this morning which is my usual sign of O so tomorrow is the big day (one day later than usual). Absolutely no cramping from the exam so we BD yesterday. DH is working a midnight shift tonight so hopefully we can get in one more session tomorrow night to be sure. Unfortunately, I have been feeling cramping/pinches on the left side today so I might be releasing an egg from the less perfect tube side this month but I am still encouraged. Besides maybe it is delayed HSG cramping (delusions can sometimes help. LOL). Anyone taken OvaBoost or FertilAid? I am thinking about adding them to my repetoire next cycle (if there is one).

Hi Everyone

Boy it sure is quiet on here lately.. must be the post holiday Hangover keeping everyone away.

Shanessa- I think you are I are right in line... so happy the test went well. I have heard great things happen after a good "pipe cleaning"... :D If you are Oing now the BD last night might do the trick for you. Boy, I am sure praying and hoping for you.

Apples- I dont know anything about clomid, havent used it yet. but your BD pattern looks good if you O when you think you did. Thanks for the info on motility supps, I am starting DH on 200mg of selenium and 60 mg of zinc, do those doses sound right, its what I saw online over and over again.

AFM- just got a smiley face for O in the last hr, so at least my body is doing the right thing and temps and patterns are stable and easy to follow. Got a BD in last night, will see if I can talk DH into one in the AM before work to be sure in the event I O today or tomorrow plus that will give me the 36 hr BD...

Fingers crossed....
