Hi everyone

Tiff- I agree test on Thur. no sense in waiting and then stressing about it... So many commonalities. My DH and I are refing right now as well... will be closing last week of Jan.. LOL... It will give me more money each month to spend of my TTC journey.....UGH... I hate cheaters..... but have peace knowing "karma" will get him in the end.. :x

Jenni- so sorry you are going thru all of this. I cannot imagine how it must feel but sounds like you are knowledgable about it and do what you can to try and control it as best you can, plus being in a fairly mild climate Im sure helps.. (atlanta area right?) :hugs: that a BFP will take this away for you..

Apples- I saw your chart. :hugs: that tomorrow it will change and become a positive....

TTC- Try not to stress right now, (from the pot that called the kettle black) it wont do any good except bum you out.... :hugs: What you said puts a different spin on taking "tylenol" when I have a headache, I just take the "tylenol" and move on... your thought that something else could be going on to cause that headache is something I will try and hone in on next time and listen to what my body is saying to me... try to be more in touch with myself instead of always in a hurry..... I am loving the stuff I am learning from this group. When I talk now, I actually sound VERY educated.... Thanks to all of you...

Ray- sorry about AF showing up.. The upside right now is at least you can start trying again in 10 days or so... (the only silver lining right now I know...) :hugs: to you...

Hi everyone else :)

AFM- temps down again today, UGH... (still above cover but down none the less)... something tells me I am out this month, I woke up this morning crampy but no spotting as of yet and cramping has subsided, so I should know tomorrow where I stand.. If no BFP on Friday DH and I will schedule his second seman analysis and I am scheduling a consult with my OBGYN for next steps. We have also discussed adoption and or fostering with potential adoption as well. Any feedback on that is welcome..
Me: 44 DH: 45
TTC #1 since June 2012
DH- Perfect
ME- DOR due to age

March 2013 started taking DHEA 25mg 3 times a day FSH is now 8.5... down from 17.8 from 3 months earlier. They want it well below 10.

June, 2013- AMH level .016 (low) they want it over 1.

June 2013- Antral Follicle Ct- 6 (low) they want it over 10.

Im hopeful and scared....
I read all your posts and want to write to all of you ...your all a great group and I check everyday in HOPES that ONE OF US gets a healthy BFP...bc that is HOPE for ALL OF US...and we cycle on with hope :)

Second, sorry about the temp drop. I looked at your chart from last month and this month..you def got the bd right both times. UGH, that is frustrating! Hoping your wrong about being out this month.

Momof2, I don't know that my progesterone is low that is why I chose not to take it this month. My ob puts everyone on Clomid cd3-7, Estradiol cd8-12, then Progesterone cd17-30. She requests that you do an u/s on cd 11-14 but it costs $284 cash. I haven't done the u/s in a while because I refuse to pay that. She is really only checking to CYA for overstimulation. She was okay with me not having u/s because I have beeen on Clomid before. Anyway, this month I decided I wanted to just do the Clomid. It makes me feel less "druggy" kwim. So, because I am not on the Progesterone this cycle I don't know if I have a progesterone problem...I know a lot of women do. So, basically when I get a bfp I would go in that day and get my hcg and progesterone level done. I think the sign of low progesterone is spotting and it is an EASY fix you just take the med and spotting goes away if that was truly the cause. So, maybe if you get a bfp ask for a progesterone check. You won't wait too long if you go pretty quickly after your bfp.
Your symptoms sound promising..is nausea normal for you? Is the lightheaded normal for you??
I really hadn't put that much thought into the weird blood taste. I honestly think/thought it was because of cold. But, everytime I tell anyone that..they get all excited then I get excited...haha! FX it is something meaningful..I'll take it :). When are you going to be testing???

Hello everyone:

Just getting to posting. Super busy at work today...

Tif - if you have never experienced it before (blood in the mouth) then absolutely it could be a sign. I am more swayed by the bunnies and the dream. Either way, same outcome. Good plan because I would be stalking the office for results if I had to wait over the weekend. I will be looking forward to your results on Thursday. FX (double) for you. :D

Momof2 - I never get breast sensitivity when I am pregnant. Only when I am not...go figure. I worried about that when I was newly pregnant with DS (didn't feel any until after giving birth) but my OBGYN said she never had it with any of her three pregnancies so then I was more relaxed about it. I say this to say don't rule out a bfp because of that. :)

Jenni - Wow. You are so strong and courageous. Thanks for sharing your story. I hope that you get your BFP soon for the double benefit of providing some much needed relief from your flareups. :D

Apples - Your lp is longer than it has been that last few cycles. I am VERY hopeful that this is heading to a positive conclusion for you. It has to so you can join your sisters in the mama-to-be parade! :D

Second - you and I are in step this cycle. While it is always good to prepare yourself for a possible future event (fostering, adoption) don't give up hope yet. However, sometimes when you turn your attention elsewhere, the thing you initially wanted comes to pass. :? I agree with you that I have learned so much from this board. Although, sometimes I do which I was blissfully ignorant and could spend my days forever hopeful and not analytical of every part of the cycle.

Ray - Glad AF came early (if she was coming at all) to remove some of the anxiety from the day. I think it is OK to allow ourselves that feeling low time. We have to let it out so that we can move forward. I am hopeful that you get your BFP within your 6 cycle goal. Two more great chances coming up!

TTC2@42 - I have lived in NY/NJ my whole life. I love fall (I'm an October baby)but I can do without the winter cold and I love to LOOK at the snow when it is falling but hate the shoveling that has to come after. Definitely too early for anything conclusive in your cycle but of course never to early to obsess. Just take it day by day. You had a great formula leading into this cycle (vacation, no stress, great BD timing) so just let things unfold. I talk a good game, right?

AFM - 11 dpo. Temp dropped again but still above the coverline. The writing is on the wall..the fat lady has sung..yada yada. I am just hoping that AF holds off until tomorrow so that I can at least say my LP is looking better. I am not looking forward to AF this cycle because I had a ton of cramping and pinches this cycle - not sure what that was about if not egg implanting - so I think I might be in for a hell of a cycle. Today I feel fine but the last few days there was so much noise (i.e. cramping/pains/pressure) that I feel like not only will my lining be shedding this AF but maybe my whole uterus :omg: I still have two more cycles to reap the benefits of the HSG I had done earlier this month so I wont let myself lapse into dispare (or at least not for long :) ).

Oh sweet Shanessa..just love you girl. Everytime you post I always laugh at something you say. I am sorry about the temp drop :(. Yes, you do still have TWO more cycles that you are considered more fertile. Maybe all of that weird pain stuff was related to HSG and you just need one good shed (af) to get that sticky bfp. I have never had that blood thing in my mouth before. I did have blood when brusing my teeth with dd but I was like 12dpo.

Second, my aunt and uncle were foster parents for 12 years. They ended up adopting two of the children (one at 3years of age and one at 6 or 7) but they had really been with them since they were both infants. They do have a wonderful relationship with the younger daughter..she is great for them and it was awesome for her too. The older boy he has been problematic but he was when he was younger and they knew that. He has broken their hearts :( several times but I hope and pray that he will come around. I dont' know anything about adoption..I am sorry.

Just got on here to update my sad story....
My close gf who has/is been ttc #2 the same amount of time as me just sent me a text that she is 10weeks preg with a healthy baby. She is 39 and conceived her son last year; both pregancies have been all natural for them too! I am so happy for her but it did sting and brought on some tears too :(. Of course it brought the nausea back too so maybe that is a good thing out of it.
Oh, and now the two gf of mine who were preg when I was with dd are officially both preg with #2 now. My hairdresser and this gf. Now, maybe since the situation is the same I can get preg too :). It is def my turn :)!!

Hello Everyone,

Please accept my apologies for disappearing! We were out of town for a week and then we were all wiped out by yet another cold. My little one has his second ear infection and I think his cough is heading for another bought of croup! Urrgh!

I have tried to get caught up on everyone, but it looks like things have been very busy on our site! Apples, really hoping that you get a dark, dark line on Thursday! Tiffany, your symptoms sound very promising and I will be checking back in to see your testing on Thursday as well. I think Shanessa is also testing this week?? Good luck to all of you. Jenni, I am so sorry that you are dealing with arthritis. It really sounds like you are a brave woman to be handling it all so well. I have to say, I am also impressed by you DH -sounds like a good man! EOE-hope you are all doing well!

AFM, I am in a bit of a panic mode. My symptoms never really got as strong as they were with my DS. I know every pregnancy is different, but.... I have my next ultrasound (the last one was almost three weeks ago....)in an hour and am a bit beside myself. Part of me just doesn't even want to go!!! Of course, I am going, but I am a bit nervous. I am technically 8 weeks 4 days today. If this pregnancy doesn't work out, I really don't think we will be trying again and that really scares me. Fingers crossed! I'll let you know how it all goes. Heading out the door in a few minutes. Uggh. Thanks for listening!

Thanks everyone for thinking of me and wishing me well but the huge temp dip says it all and AF will be here soon. Every one if my tests was an evap including the blue one. I did another last night and got the same line so googled it and it turns out that the store bought tests that I bought are notorious for evaps.

I did wake up and hour and a half earlier than normal but still.....you just kind of know. So I have stocked up on pads and she'll be here soon!

Hoopla- how did scan go?

EOE hi! I am reading along to keep up!

Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for all the support! I looked for Cycling on Part 5 and do not see it yet, so posting here...

Second – Hang in there. Sounds like you are taking all the right steps.

Momof2girls – You are so right! We do cycle on with hope :)!

Shanessa – I sure hope AF holds off for you today and you see improvements to your LP. I’m late joining this thread, so sorry to ask what you have likely already answered. What steps are you take to improve your LP? I added B6 last month, but saw no change and wondering if there is something else I should add.

Tiff – I very much understand your feelings there! It is tough when we are torn between excite for our friends and our own desires. I’m sure your time is soon!

Hoopla – How was the ultrasound????

Apples – You must be very frustrated with a box of tests with EVAP lines! I really thought you were in the running this month. I’m sorry to see your temp drop :(.

AFM – No real news here on CD2. Luckily, AF looks like it is going to be fairly easy on me this month. I’m looking forward to this upcoming cycle. I saw my general OB/GYN a couple of weeks ago and she indicated that we can start on Clomid next cycle, but for anything else I need to go to a specialist. After three months, I feel fairly certain that my LP is on the short end at 11 days. Last month, I had a horrible cycle and I suspect that I had a fertilized egg that was unable to implant before AF arrived. I added B6 last month and did not see any improvement yet. When I had my hormones tested in September, my progesterone levels were a little on the low side, so I suspect that may be my issue. Is anyone using progesterone crème? I am torn between trying the over-the-counter solution and waiting until I see a fertility specialist. Is there something else I should be considering?

Hi Ray - Cycling on...Part 5 is up.

I have been taking Folgard which is a prescription folic acid and Vit B6 combo but I will probably add some more B6 this cycle (if it ever kicks off). I think 11 days is good though, especially if your temps stay above the coverline. I have some progesterone left over from my IVF time but am saving it for when I get a BFP.
