Goodmorning Ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have some wonderful news on our board!!! Congrats to our preggers!!!

so welcome Janovich sorry this is happening to you , Shanessa I also struggle finding the cervix ( im not even looking anymore i know its there )

Second -good luck.

TTC - miss you

Everyone else hello...i have been stalking..

Last you all heard from me i was sweating at night and thought perhaps it was my thyroid, I had BD w hubby on January 6 and got an OPK smiley on 7 and bd 7 and skipped 8 and BD on 9 and all my cyber girlies said ...i think you hit it on the mark....
however i was looking at my calendar and my symptoms were exact as if i was gettting AF!
EXCEPT FOR THE SWEATY NIGHTS!!!!!

sooooo as you all know i have had 2 miscarriages in the last 2 years so all of this is very very cautionary... I have 2 children ...but in all 3 miscarriages and a very difficult time conceiving.
In july 2012 i had bfp but very low progesterone and miscarried to find out it was a genetic abnormality... :(

but what i am trying to get out here is I GOT A BFP!

ok no no no symptoms at all same as af .... pimples - attitude-- all of it...ezcept for the sweats..
what i did DIFFERently THAT I WANT TO SHARE IWTH ALL OF YOU ....ARE YOU READY?? SINCE DECEMBER 26 (THE DAY AFTER AF) I began drinking lots and lots of water but only if i squeezed an entire LEMON in it! i swear thats what did it ( i tried everything even royal jelly ) this cycle i bought a bottle of geritol tonic ( i heard a "a baby in every bottle" ) but i just returned it. I swear by the LEMON WATER!!!! ( i read it on the internet)

ok now heres where my story may not have a happy ending :(
on Jan21 I didnt have preg test it was 4 days before period i peed on a opk and got a smiley face ??? i was confused but yet happy...told dh go get digital test (clearblue) boom PREGNANT -- I couldnt belive my eyes!
st i went to my ob to check thyroid and levels the NEXT DAY 283 hcg 27 progesterone--- 1/24- a day after AF was suppose to come 800 (something he says ) and 20 something progesterone (he didnt give me exact numbers which was annoying.-- he says he wants to see me 2/7 BUT I KNOW HOW I NEVER GET PASSED THIS STAGE!!! MY PROGESTERONE ALWAYS DROPS! AND I HAVE NO NO NOT AN IOTA OF A SYMPTOM ---thats progesterone...
so I SQUEEZE an appt out of my RE that i went to last year...but just for bloodwork...that was yesterday at 6am.... my beta 5000 (great) but my progesterone --- 13.5 ????????????????????????? Nurse didnt seemed concerned tleling me the numbers ...but i am seeing the RE tomorrow mornign for a sono and more blood...

WTF ladies...am i headed for another miscarriage...??? why can t i just be happy at this point --this is too difficult

Morning all:

Tiff - still laughing :). So did you hurry home and test or did you hold out? 8)

Ray - I am hoping 11 days LP is good b/c I am usually no more than 12 (unless pregnant) and often have been 9 or 10. Looking back on my charts, my lp was 9 the cycle before my DS, 10 and 11 before my blighted ovum and early m/c so I think you can get pregnant with 11 although obviously longer is better. :? I agree, I hope it becomes a moot point for you. :) Looks like you hit O dead on. :hugs: to DS. What a hard couple of weeks.

Jenni - maybe you have more than one in the oven. :omg: That could cause the high HCG beta. Good luck to you. What are you hoping to get out of the Tuesday appt? Another beta?

Second - I absolutely KNOW that you will have the bundle of joy in your arms soon. It would be a nice double blessing even if you started out with adoption that you were able to also grow your own little bean. :praying: Keep strong my control freak friend.

AFM - I am somewhere in the tww. I have to wait for the FF crosshairs but I think I am 2dpo (they'll prob say 1dpo). Unnerving evening yesterday. We had a shocking death in the extended family yesterday :( . My sisters nephew (via her husband) was struck by a taxicab while crossing the street on the way home from work in NYC. Apparantly, there was heavy fog. He turned 35 a week ago. He has a 6 year old daughter and a 2 year old son.

On top of that we had quite a storm last night. I don't mind telling you that I was a little unnerved. Lots of rain and wind. I lay awake waiting for the roof to fly off or maybe the whole house (a la Dorothy in Wizard of Oz). DH, bless his heart, can sleep through anything! DS ended up in our bed in the middle of the night and we kept each other company until we could fall back to sleep when the storm eased.

What weird/strong weather we are having across the U.S. - storms, snow, cold, heat, wind, tornadoes, etc.. Are you folks in the UK, Canada, Australia and other places having odd weather this year too?

Momof 2 - Congratulations momma! Excellent news and great numbers. Don't stress too much about the progesterone. You can get some cream at the drug store if it will make you feel better but I know that the progesterone level fluctuate a great deal. I have read that the hCG pregnancy hormone blood level is a better indicator of a viable pregnancy than the progesterone level.

I copied the below from http://www.justmommies.com/articles/pro ... ancy.shtml

Progesterone Level Chart

Progesterone during pregnancy
First Trimester 9-47
Second Trimester 17-147 ng/ml
Third Trimester 55-200 ng/ml

What are normal progesterone levels?
Sometimes doctors will check a woman's progesterone level during pregnancy. Most doctors like to see a minimum level of 10 ng/ml during the first few weeks of pregnancy.

Try not to freak out, momof2. Let us know how tomorrow goes.
