Cycling???

I was wondering if most everyone has stopped posting new topics and answering/welcoming newbies and only use the cycling posts? It been a couple months since I posted and I noticed a very few posts with hardly any replies or welcomes.

Hi there,

I don't really know since I'm only recently started posting here. But it seems pretty quite over here... I guess not that many people TTC in their 40s. :(

How are you? Welcome back!

I've been stalking this TTC in our 40's area but haven't posted because of the same thing, LOL and the "cycling" one as amazing as it looks seem overwhelming to me, LOL!

I turned 40 in Dec 2012 and I really wanted to have a baby before I turned 41 but I guess that is not going to happen anymore as I was pregnant in March but loss the pregnancy at 5 weeks :(

Anywhoo, I love to buddy up with other girls in our 40's as it's a whole different set of worries in addition to the normal TWW!! Tick tock, Tick tock, :)

I do love this site though and it has been a Godsend these past 4 months of TTC!

Blessings to all!

Hi and welcome!! This board can be quiet but it really is a great board with friendly ladies!! I agree about it being overwhelming to try and track down a post you may have posted a question and looking for a reply :( Becca I am 12dpo and bfn and now waiting for cd1 :) Tammylynn I am sorry for your loss :( Noregrets we had a burst of BFP a while back so few ladies have moved on :) I look forward to seeing more posts and getting to know everyone!

10thtimearound, thanks for starting this and starting some new fun topics. I'm new here too, though have been stalking for awhile. The Cycling threads are overwhelming, but I am so impressed by how positive and supportive everyone is to each other. TTC in our 40s is a whole different ball game it seems. I've had two CP since staring in October, having never been through anything like that before. Just definitely not as straight forward as it used to be. At least for me.

Tammylynn, we are the same age and I was hoping to have my baby before I turned 41 too.

Becca, I'm fully expecting AF today so hopefully CD1 for me. Ready to move on and try again.

The new thread is called "TTC in our 40's ~ welcome new friends."

10thTime
Lydstoff
Tammylynn
Becca
Noregrets
....anybody else who would like to join us

Lets get together over there!! :D. I've been talking to several other wonderful ladies and will invite them over. Please do the same!!

Hi again everyone! I am now 2 dpo. No clomid this month (after trying it for 3) but started using preseed. Eating raspberries in the morning with breakfast, and some pineapple in the evening after dinner. Also, taking baby aspirin and prenatal vitamins. Anyone else on the dpo side of the cycle?

You know what I learned from this site, which I am so embarrassed that I didn't know? I learned that you have to BD before you ovulate. My husband and I would wait for the positive to come up on the OPK and then BD for like 5 days straight. I sit here thinking about the months we wasted doing it all wrong!!!! Now we are BDing every other night starting around cycle day 7ish give or take. Then once I get the positive it's three nights of BDing. I read that this was a good method to follow. Seriously....we only started following this a couple months ago. And we've been trying since June last year. Ugh!

I'm out this month. Just got AF, CD 26, which is extremely unusual for me. I always have 32 day cycles. I was on clomid for the three months prior. I think I may have ovulated right after my period this month. I remember feeling ovulation like pain very early on, along with CM, but kinda let it go thinking I was imagining it. But I also got the positive OPK around usual ovulation. I think the clomid may have messed up my cycle a bit. So on to the next. :?
