wannbe...don't give up dear. You are only 42! You are not ancient and plenty of women in their 40s are having very healhty babies. I do give myself a 24hour pity party every bfn...it is okay and def warranted IMO.

momof, yes that sounds about right. If you are implanting at 9dpo you probably wouldn't get a bfp on a 50 until 12 or 13dpo I would think.
Any more testing???

ray, how are you dear? Your chart is looking good!

afm..sonogram tomorrow afternoon at 3:15pm CST. Still not FEELING preg at all :(. And sadly expecting the worst tomorrow. Just can't get out of this numb fearful feeling I have :(. Hopefully, I am completely wrong and we see a hb and then I can become excited!

HI Everyone

sorry I have been away a bit, been busy and honestly just needed a bit of a break from all the TTC stuff... CD5 for me today... I do have my 1st appt with the RE May 30th on where to go from here... Had my FSH redone over the weekend, still waiting for the results from that... in Feb it was 17.8, so hoping its down some now.. I am taking clomid again this cycle, but changed up just a bit to 50mg days 3-7....... My sister told me over the weekend that she would donate her eggs to me if it came to that... Will be something to look into more if it comes to that..

Hope everyone is great... Ray- temps are looking good, I will be watching for that BFP.. :D

Holy crap.......... Dr just called, my FSH came back in at 8.5.... I am stunned it went down so much.. has to be from the DHEA that I am taking... In Feb it was 17.8... WOW... and I have only been taking it 60 days... gives me a little sense of hope for this month.

No, no more testing. Can't stand to see just one line again. Besides, we have had one h*LL of a weekend - bb lodged in a hand, a broken wrist, a trip to a local amusement park, then surgeon visit today to remove the bb. It never stops! AF due today.

Need insight as to what is going on with my body. Started af bleeding this morning. It usually starts really heavy and stays heavy for at least 2, if not 3, days. Well, an hour after it started I changed a tampon that was relatively full. When I checked a couple hours later, the new tampon was empty. So, not only was AF a day late, she's messing with my mind!

Second. Congrats and here's to wishing u a bfp soon

Momoftreasure. So sorry af arrived butthat does sound weird that af would stop but I have no idea why. I've read of woman who thot af arrived and were actually pregnant

This month af would heavy for like 6hours and then light but not too light. Also didn't have any af cramping or pain so fx this is a good month

Mom, gosh I have no idea about why af would do that? Is it more normal today? Didn't you have lots of stress this cycle too? It could be that you had a strange O which would throw off your period. It is just so hard when our bodies do weird things. I am not sure we ever find out the answers on most cycles.

wanta, hoping this is a good month for you too that ends with a bfp!! Is dh coming around now?

AFM..SONO was done yesterday afternoon and we saw a PERFECTLY measuring fetus at 6w4d with a heartbeat of 117!! I am still in shock at this point.
dh and I both were teary eyed..I mainly think from stress release. Man, it was so stressful..I had to go to bathroom before exam to have diarrhea then I was sweating like crazy. It was just so intense. Glad that is over and feeling SO much better just because a little worry is gone.
My RE did the sono and said he will see me every week for sono if I want until 12weeks. He will also send me to HighRisk doctor for genetic testing at 11weeks. I think we are going to try and do the new maternity t21 test.
Another thing, I was shocked..he strongly suggested no cvs or amino at my age. He said his wife had one at 42 with their IVF baby and she leaked fluid and it was TERRIFYING..it really changed his entire perspective on those tests. It was nice to hear that from an expert that had been thru it. He knew if they lost that baby that it would be hard to get preg again using her eggs...guess hers weren't so great. Anyway, just wanted to share that with you ladies. I do not think we would ever go for CVS or Amino anyway as we have discussed before. With dd we did no genetic testing and we might choose that option again..just wait and see.

wanna, dh always says that too...you know you are never going to relax (we never do because our age is always in the back of our mind..normal for us not to relax!); so just vent here and do what you gotta do to get that bfp :). My dh didn't even know I took femara the last two cycles.
