Williamsbaby, I've noticed late O also on Clomid. Two months tracking and it seems as though i O way later than "normal". Im CD 15 and just started OPK. Trying to play scientis between what the doc, the paperwork and my body is saying to get all on the same page. Hopefully this will be our month.

Have a safe holiday ALL

Well here's to another day in the TWW, sighhhh. Hoping work keeps me busy so not to obsess too much, lol

I am 6 DPO already and according to FF, test date is June 6th, LOL but I will neve make it that long, I am POAS early type of girl! I counted how many tests I had yesterday and I have 16 tests in my drawer, 2 digi, 2 FRER, 5 wands from Internet, and 7 cheapie Internet dip sticks, so I think I have my bases covered. I'll prob start test Saturday June 1st, I'll be 10 DPO by then. Really praying that this month we did it!!

Hope everyone else is doing good!! Hoping to see some more BFP's this time around, FX for all of us!!

Ladies, Clearblue Digital OPKs placed me in the steady smiley face category as of this am. That means TWW should be about to start no later than 1-2 days from now.
I had bought FRERs OPks this cycle first - store was out of Clearblue - and I can say these don't work a lick in regards to my LH surge. Clearblue Digital OPKs appear to be more sensitive.

Tammy and clementine, you two are both doing good from what I can read. Lets keep it up that way.

:yay:

:welcome: Jayney!! It doesn't matter where you are located. This is a blog for all that TTC. Wow, two boys close in age that is really nice.

And no worries about the HSG. It is a personal affair and it feels different for everyone. The procedure itself takes app 10-15 min or so and there is usually very little pain. Myself took a 200mg ibuprofen 1hr before and 30min after just to ward off unforeseen cramps or discomfort. I had neither.

Are you OPK or BBT or are you observing your cm and cervix?? I am sure the ladies here will share their experiences and give you some additional advise, if needed.

Hi Ladies
Another UK member here, just started posting as I need a little support at the moment.
Me: 45
DH: 51
TTC: 7mths
Never been pregnant, never had the right man and was told in my youth I'd never conceive and as I'd never met anyone who I wanted to try with I didn't question it.
DH has 3 kids from first marriage.
Starting to feel a little down. Both had tests to check as much as they will on NHS, anything more we will have to start paying for things, which we just have not got. So hopefully doing all the right things: OPK, BBT, observing CM and cervix, using pre-seed, soft cups, extra vitamins, CoQ12, stopped caffeine and alcohol.
Any other tips would be really appreciated!
Take care

Welcome Jayne and Claire!! I turned 44 in April. I have two boys...ages 20 and 14.

Jayne - you're off to a great start with a normal FSH and day 21 bloodwork! The HSG is different for everyone, but most of what I hear is it's a piece of cake. I had mine last cycle and I cramped remarkably, but from the OB's feedback, that was abnormal. I am sure you will be just fine!! Keep us posted on your results!

Claire - please don't let yourself get down. I know 7 months seems like an eternity when you want something so much. We can all relate to that and definitely have our down days. What tests does NHS cover for you? In your youth, what were you told would prevent you from ever conceiving a child? Is this something NHS will cover for a second opinion? Sounds like you have everything else covered on your end. Keep your chin up!!

Williamsbaby - I definitely stand behind ClearBlue (smiley) OPK's. They've always worked for me. I think I usually ovulate 2 days after the positive with those.

Tammy - symptoms sound great!!! :D C'mon baby!!!

AFM - 6dpo/IUI and no symptoms to speak of. I've been so busy though, that I'm not sure I'd feel them if they were there. It's probably a blessing...it's been the fastest 2WW week in a long time. My doctor doesn't test progesterone even after IUI's. They only do it for IVF's. My day 21 progesterone was good when we did the initial bloodwork a couple of cycles ago and my temps definitely do rise significantly and stay there....no breakthrough bleeding ever soooo....I guess I have to assume I'm okay  I need a different doctor/fertility nurse.

EOE - I hope you are all doing great!!

As Tammy said here is to a big :welcome: to you Claireu. I am sorry to hear that you have a hard time with getting the right support without having to dig deep in your pockets.
I was looking at your chart but it doesn't reflect the previous cycle. Are you able to include the link in your next post? Maybe it will be easier to share some good practices that way.

I am from Europe myself, so I am aware that the medical insurance system works a little different.

You said you and your DH had tests done. Are you comfortable talking about those tests??

This web link / we site has a lot of forums to read through and hopefully you can compare some info that way.

Welcome Claireu and Janey. Hope you will find this room as welcoming as I have. There are very supportive women here.

TammyLynn and Clementine, fingers are crossed for you.

Do the rest of the ladies have any good news?
AFM, temp spiked this am, I think. I usually hover in the 97 range, but was at mid 98 range today. Though the OPK said I was not O yet. Clementine, I did use cheapies. LOL. So after a BD with DH, now begins the every other day BD. Lets hope we get it right now.

Anyway, wishing you all lots of BABYDUST. (No special effects, I dont know how) :) :happyforyou: :happyforyou:

Hi All

A big :welcome: to Janey and Claireu. Great to have another couple of UK girls. I am from the UK too and working out what you are entitled to on the NHS is difficult.

Alibaby - Congratulations on the O. Fx for BFP

Tammylyn, your symptoms sound good. Fx for your BFP also.

Clementine - 6dpo is a bit early for symptoms. Fx for your BFP also.

And to anyone I have missed.

AFM - I'm CD10 today. I will probably O at the weekend. Had first BD this morning, as it has all been a bit hectic. We were away camping in Scotland over the weekend and I took a little tumble off a stile and rolled down a hill, managed to stop myself on a tree, before I did myself too much damage. Don't know what happened but was feeling faint and just lost my balance.

Had my first blood test last Friday (CD5), then ultrasound this Friday and then next blood test CD22 (as CD21 is a Sunday) Bit scared regarding the tests, but important to know I guess so can get treatment if needed.

:babydustb: :babydustg: and :sticky: to all.
TTC since Oct 12

BFP - Feb 2014, Natural MC 18 March, 8 weeks, 4 days.

BFP - June 2014
US - 18.7.14 - baby measuring 8+1. Strong, clear heartbeat.

ooof Mountainbaby! That must have smarted  I hope you are fully recovered for you your BDing sessions coming up! Go get that egg girl!!

Alibaby, I wonder if you missed your surge on the OPK, that's a pretty good temp spike?? And good job on the special effects

AFM: DPO 7 and not alot to report, temp is still up and have some creamy CM and I was getting weird twinges last night during dinner, like zaps, made me even yelp a little and we were at a restaurant, lol! DH was like "are you going to make it?" But it only lasted for a few minutes thank goodness :)

We have not BD since O time and now DH tells me he wants to wait to until I know if I am pregnant or not cuz he is afraid of knocking the lil bean out of place if the bean is trying to implant... Oh my I have created a TTC DH monster! That's what I get for sharing this journey with him every step of the way  i guess it's sweet in a way :) but dang I could you some "play" time to get my mind off things, sighhhh
