Thanks, beelady! I got another 'high fertility' reading this morning, so I'm anticipating a peak tomorrow, so more BDing hopefully tomorrow night and Saturday. I don't think I'll be lucky enough to get him to go for it tonight b/c he works until 6:30 and he doesn't do too well when pressured! We shall see...

Quick update:
So, I thought I'd get a static smiley this morning, but instead got a 3rd flashing smiley. Don't know what to make of it. We will dtd tonight and if I can get him to be game over the weekend. He works 11-7 tomorrow, so I don't know if he'll be up to it for Sat :-( All this waiting... waiting for 'O', the tww... so much waiting!

Hi
My name is Robin. I am 45 and have been ttc for nearly 5 years. I have completed 4 failed iui's followed 2 failed IVF cycles using my own eggs.
I decided to try donor eggs and had a beautiful day 5 embryo transferred on dec 9..so 3 days ago.
I am feeling kind of down because I have not had any symptoms other than those associated with the use of PIO.
I am trying to stay positive. Any advice??

Robin, welcome and good luck!!! I hope this is your sticky little one. Remember, not everyone has symptoms. I suggest finding a project or something to keep you busy.

Cyndi, good luck!

I hope everyone else is well.

tammylynn-

sorry to hear you were sick with the flu! I hope that you are feeling much better. It sounds like you will have a very busy holiday season and hopefully good news in the new year.

I think I missed the lh surge, got flashy smily faces up through Sat (four days). I'm going with O-day on the 11th; I think that's probably right what with some other things I noticed, ie. what could have possibly been ovulation pain that day and cm dried up Saturday. I like the ease of the ClearBlue digital fertility monitor, but it's expensive and you really can't test more than once a day. I think I'm going to go with the more traditional tests next cycle (if I need to!), so that I can test twice a day and maybe catch the surge more accurately. Hopefully, though I won't have to do that, though! I'll know one way or another right around Christmas.
Hi, Robin--I hope that you get good news with this cycle.
Sunshinetex-did you get AF yet? Did you start the cycle?

Hi there ladies
I'm new to this forum but not new to TTC. I'm currently on my first cycle with a new clinic that are trying a different round to the previous cycles.

Today I am 8dpt5dt so I'm on my two week wait which has been tremendously difficult.. It's nearly towards the end and you know that it either has worked or it hasn't.

I tried my first ivf this year in April which was really a test of the drugs on low doses. Then no. 2 they upped the doses on same protocol.

Me 40 dh 45
Ivf #1 3 eggs none to transfer
Ivf #2 5 eggs 1 transfer didn't take (stick)

New clinic and specialist
current cycle :
8 eggs retrieved, 5 fertilised, 2 transferred

My acupuncturist is so positive about this cycle.

Xx hugs

Tammylynn, sorry to hear about the flu, but super excited for you!!! Can't wait to follow your cycle!

Cyndi, I loved the clear blue monitor. I bought my sticks off ebay or craigslist. I found that it was dead on every month. We just had other issues.

Welcome Hope. I really hope this is your cycle- the numbers definitely look better! When will you test?

AFm, why is AF late when you want her to come? She was due today, hope she comes tomorrow. Then I can start bcp and get my schedule!!! Yeah!

Hi All,
Nice to meet you ladies!

I'm new to these forums. We just started trying... late bloomers. Me and my DH are both 41. This is our ttc cyle no. 3. We're going to try au natural for at least 6 months and then see how it goes. Unless of course, an issue with either one of us is detected. I've tested fine and healthy for everything. DH is getting a sperm analysis in the next couple of weeks. He's type 1 diabetic, so we're not sure if there are any issues. Trying to stay positive about things in the meantime.

Hi,

Thanks Sunshine... I'll be testing on 20th December (just before Christmas)!!!

This week I've been 3 times to acupuncture and in the last 6 months been going regularly as I've found it has reduced my infertility stress or stress in general.
We have been ttc since 2011, naturally, but nothing for 1 -2 years. I later discovered through a Naturopath that I had a high thyroid that she thought could cause early miscarriage. (Gp didn't think anything of it) Then my dh got tested and discovered he had low motility and quality not the best.

Then we were encouraged to see a Fertility Specialist because of the motility issue and to get better blood tests done.
While we were being tested it was discovered that I had an abnormal Pap Smear (first time!) so 6 months of visiting hospital for more smears, which resulted in a leep procedure. I was so worried that this would affect my chances of holding (carrying) a child. All in the clear after that.
After the initial 2 rounds of ivf or icsi it was, specialist thought it was the quality of my eggs which got me very upset.

So now having pains, some nausea at night, tired at times.
Just have to see what happens. Feels like a long journey ahead.

Hope you are all well!!!!

*** If anyone is interested ....A few months ago my AMH reading went up a little.
I took Dhea, Coq10. Plus time off work and changed my lifestyle.

Today is 13dpt5dt
AF arrived 11dpt5dt evening with a lot of cramping, still have cramping on left side of my uterus and hips on and off which is different to a normal period.
After transfer I felt a lot of pulls, quick cramps, nausea. It's so confusing as could of been side effects of medication plus the crinone. (Leutal support gel)

Not so sure now that this cycle went as I wished. Still have to hear the results, and see what the next step is.

I do want to know what my progesterone level is and needing some support from the Clinic!

Good luck and festive wishes for cycle starters during the holiday season

Hope, sorry that af has started and hope you get some results soon.

I am waiting for af to start. I stopped progesterone suppositories on friday after bfn`s so now I`m waiting to start the next cycle. My gp had me on 400mg twice a day and it really made me feel rubbish so I`m going to ask if I can have 200mg twice a day instead.

I really hope everyone else has the best of luck and hope to see a load of BFP`s in the new year.
