Hope-
sorry that AF reared it's ugly head! I'm waiting on her to arrive, probably right on Christmas Day. I don't feel 'anything' this month and am convinced that it will be another failed month. Oh, well... there's always another month.

Anne, I am sorry about the negatives. I can appreciate how terrible the progesterone support can feel. Hope the doctor will lower the dose.

Hope everyone has a joyous holiday.

Thanks for your understanding for ttc at 40+.
My sister had her third at 40 and she said her body really felt tired by then. (?)

My progesterone that I was taking was 90mg twice daily so Beelady 400 twice a day is alot and I can imagine how you were feeling. Our clinics are very conservative here, compared to the posts I see online.
Thats why some people travel os to Usa or europe for ivf.

feeling annoyed.

My p4 was at 29. Asked the nurse today when she delivered the confirmed Neg test.

Sunshine fingers crossed for a smooth cycle. :D

Thanks Sunshine!!

My birthday started off with an ultrasound for lining check that didn't go as well as I hoped. My lining was great but they found a small amount of fluid which is a big NO NO! Toxic to embryo to quote the nurse. It may resolve on it's own, so nothing is cancelled as of yet but I go back on Jan 6th to make sure it has gone and if so then they will thaw our eggs on Jan 9th and fertilize them!

Congrats on starting your cycle! I had heard horror stories about Lupron but I had not side affects really, minor headaches here and there but nothing too bad!

Tammylynn, I am so sorry to hear about the fluid. I will be praying it does resolve itself. I truly want to see this happen for you! Can't wait to hear how things go on the 6th.

Thanks for sharing about the lupron. I hope it's not too bad. I am on a long lupron protocol, so I will be on it for like 3 weeks before starting stims.

I hope everyone else is doing well!! Happy new Years!! And here's to a year filled with bfps!

Hi Girls!

Sunshine, I hope your injections are going well! DO you have a tenative retrivial date yet? When is your first u/s for follie check? Soooooo Excited to you!!

AFM: Nurse called! Game on!! Green light!! Full Speed ahead!! We have to be in Chicago between 7:30 and 8am on Saturday to leave our little spermies and transfer will be on Monday! They will be thawing and fertilizing 8 eggs! I will get a call on Saturday with my fertilization report, hoping for at least 5 to be doing great!

Doc will do u/s on Monday before transfer and will aspirate fluid if needed, the fluid did measure smaller today but the nurse pointed out it was a different u/s tech which could acct for different measurements but I will keep thinking it's shrinking!

I will stop Lupron soon and start my progesterone shots and progesterone vaginal suppositories on Thurs night (yes I get to do both, lucky me)

Omg Tammylynn, I am so excited for you!!! Yah for less fluid!! That's so exciting!

Injections are going well. I am going to be on lupron forever....I will start stimming on 1/24. First u/s is 1/19. Egg retrieval is probably the first week of February. So, still a long time. I see much faster cycles, but I don't need fast, just effective.

I hope Saturday goes well!

I hope everyone else is doing great!

Good Luck to those doing IVF right now!
I'm sort of in a bummer of a place right now. Am two weeks late for my period; can't get into my doctor until next week. I think I may be late because of the cyst on my one ovary--of course, that probably means it's not reducing, which opens a whole other can of worms
Anyway, fingers crossed for you, ladies!

Oh Tammy I am so happy for you and I wish you all the luck in the world; I really sympathise over the progesterone though, but it is a necessary evil!

Sunshine, glad you have started lupron, and hope the days pass quickly.

My thoughts and best wishes are with you both. Baby Dust!!!!
