6 days late BFN

Postby MimiLopez » Tue Mar 29, 2016 11:18 am

Hello ladies! I'm new here so I will give you a little history before asking my question..

I am 40 years old. I have had 4 pregnancies, 3 living children, all boys 20, 12, 10 and one early mc.. I'm trying for one more. It was VERY easy to conceive with the others but this time it's been difficult. I've been trying going on 2 years. Not one pregnancy. My cycles are 25 days and I spot 3 days before AF and a couple after. I've had a lot of irregular spotting in the last 3 years but my cycles still came like clockwork. I sometimes had an early period but never late.

So naturally when AF didn't come I was very excited but I have not gotten one BFP. We didn't BD much this month so by the timing of that, it would show by now so it's safe to say I'm not pregnant :(

So what I'm looking to do is start charting. To see if I'm even ovulating. Any tips or links you can give me on the subject is greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

I'm 41 and ttc for 2 years as well (have a 3.5 year old already who was conceived on the first try.) I agree that Fertility Friend is the best app. I just started charting and my numbers were all over the place (I read sleeping with your mouth open, etc., can mess up the temps.) Just thought I'd pass along that I started temping vaginally this month and wow what a difference! So far my temps have been so much more regular. I'm coming up on ovulation so we'll see if it holds true through the rest of the month. Just wanted to pass that along since we're 'older' and time is of the essence. We don't need to be wasting a month or two charting with no clear outcome! :)
