Sigh. 4 DPO. Having cramps but I always do. I always have cramps and it always gets my hopes up. So long to wait. I asked God for twins. I want another baby.

Is anyone still out there? This website is so confusing to me. I'm still trying, now 42, no BFP in 7 months of trying and getting sad.

Mercy-I am still here. This is my last month TTC as I am now 40 and just can't keep my life in limbo any longer waiting to see if we are blessed with another child. I had my 5th IUI on Friday.

I was on here a lot 4.5 years ago when TTC my now 3.5 year old. Been lurking because I'm not REALLY ttc. I thought I was done at #3, 6, and 8. And then 9. But then I have had 4 chemicals in 6 months and feeling a void. And I'm almost 47 and already incredibly blessed so I feel silly. And greedy. And ridiculous. My last was concieved at 44 while breastfeeding every two hours around the clock and after just one pp cycle. I still have regular cycles though so maybe... I personally know at least 4 women who concieved naturally at 47. Maybe God put them in my life for a reason. I don't think we see a lot of the 40 something crowd on ttc boards because most aren't actually trying. Who knows. Now I'm rambling. Anyway, I could use some prayers. This month was a bust because my husband was out of town so just waiting for af. I'm somewhere around 6 or 7 dpo.

Hi guys. Thanks for responding. It's good to hear from each of you. To aj 38, I completely understand how you feel. I know it can be such a consuming endeavor. Part of me wants to say don't give up, but I know in your heart you know what is the right choice for you and your family.

To momof9treasures, I love your story. It is so encouraging. I also am believing beyond hope and often feel selfish and ridiculous. But the birth of our daughter at 41 was such a miracle and she's such a joy that I can't help to keep trying. How can I not? I am about 7-8 dpo and waiting for my hpts to arrive before I start poas obsessively.

Love and blessings to you all.

Give up wheat, dairy, and sugar. No white rice or potatoes, nothing processed. I HAD to do that when ttc #8 because of yeast that no meds would cure. Took 4 days for the yeast to go away and 4 weeks later I was pregnant. With #9, I stayed off of wheat and dairy because I was breastfeeding and he was sensitive to them. I left out sugar just because I felt so much better without it. Bam. Pregnant without trying. Same thing happened to a friend and was told by a naturopath that that can change the whole story. I 100% believe in it. It really isn't as hard as it seems. Except when your husband teases you about how you eat.

Yeah I've been trying really hard at fertility nutrition. I try to do majority plant-based and low carb in general (still trying to lose weight after baby). I haven't gone so far as giving these up entirely but I would be willing to try for sure. And we are down to just 2 nursing sessions per 24 hour period so I feel like she's almost totally weaned which I know in general helps. I think I'm out this month, I'm 9 dpo with no symptoms. I'll start testing tomorrow but I don't think it's this month.

Yeah, I always have one standout symptom by 9 or 10 dpo. Except with my 7th. I ovulated extremely early with her, cd6, and had no symptoms until about 20dpo when my pee smelled really strange. If you've ever had group b strep, it was that smell. With all my pregnancies, it's been different except for my first and ninth. For both of those it was cramps. With #2 it was slight nausea. #3 was overwhelming exhaustion. #4 was having to get up at 1:30 am to pee. #5 was round ligament pain. #6 was insomnia. #8 was sore gums out of nowhere. I guess I'm not completely out of the game this month because we bd 2 or 3 days before I ovulated and then he went out of town. I didnt watch for ovulation because I figured it didn't matter. But we've never gotten pregnant unless we dtd the night before ovulation. And it was usually just that once (we have a lot of kids, homeschool, and 5 of them play baseball, one does gymnastics - busy).

Oh, and I had one light pink spot on the tp at 7dpo but I've only ever had implantation spotting when it was going to be a chemical. So that's lousy.

Well, I got my period today. Even though I knew it was coming, it's still hard to see it. Blah.
