Ah sorry LO is little one!!

I'm still in awe that you conceived, twice as well, after being told you couldn't possibly!! I think that's amazing, I really do, and I know what you mean about DH and being worried about finances... although its me that's more worried than he is!! I think probably because I have so many outgoings with mortgage etc whereas with DH his work pays for major outgoings (through the farm business) but consequently this means his actually take home wage is very low (£110 a week so maybe $160?) but then he doesn't need to worry about house costs etc. We also pay for his mother in law who can't work because of illness so we have to pay her rent and bills too. But that will transfer fully to him when I'm on maternity.

So I'm guessing with the housing market you have to be ruthless?! Have you got any other houses to view soon?x

Oh! lol! I thought it was initials for your baby's name :) Yes, and what's strange is my doctor never believed I conceived the first time around. By the time I miscarried, there was no trace of hsg so it's like it never happened in the medical world :/ But I had several tests I had taken that proved it. Plus the bleeding wasnt anything like I ever experienced before. I was passing so much tissue and I actually think I may have seen the fetus even though it was so small. What types of crops does your farm grow? That's nice of you all to care for your mother in law. I'm sure that helps her have one less stress not having to worry about bills. And yes, you do have to be ruthless over here! It is scary. Our realtor owns a restaurant (which is actually how we met him) so my mom is having lunch there today to talk to him about what we should do. Our backs are up against the wall, as we really need to find something soon. We thought a lot more homes would pop on the market right now, being so close to spring. But it's actually quite the opposite! And once they pop up, they are already pending or someone has an offer on it! It's a shark tank!

That's horrible that they said you weren't pregnant. But you have lots of evidence that doctors simply aren't always right!! But it doesn't excuse the way they were with you. That's really horrible I'm so sorry.

We rear cattle pigs and sheep. We also have chickens and other birds but they're for eggs for us rather than selling in the farm shop. The farm has been organic for 70 years, the animals have an amazing life, just goes to show how important it is nowadays, I don't know if you've heard about the horse meat scandal over here?!

I'm so hoping you get good news about a house soon, and of course your mil as well. If so there couldn't be much better things going on for you!! I'm so glad you feel so much more confident about this pregnancy. I have a great feeling for you about it!! And can't wait to see your scan on Friday!!xx

Hey there! I hope you dont mind if I copy and paste from the other forum im on! It's been an interesting morning!

So I just had my first appt with the new OB. It didnt start out well because when I scheduled over the phone, they informed me I would have an ultrasound. So dh took off work today and was fully prepared to have a print out to show his parents when he flies home tomorrow. I got a lot of attitude from the girl at the front, saying I needed to schedule 2 appts not one. I was so upset! So I told the doctor that and he got quite irritated with the staff where he called them into his office! He was able to squeeze me in for one at 2:30 today. Everything looks great so far. However, when they took my blood I ended up getting sick :/ The lady took the tournaquet off and kept pressing on my vein and said my blood was flowing out like niagra falls. I started to get really lightheaded and I was destined for the trash can Not such a fun experience as I'd hoped! Wasn't the best first impressions. The doctor didn't make a big "to-do" about the ultrasound either. I told him it was important that it happened today because my dh has taken the day off and will be out of town all week. Also threw it out there that he wants a copy of the ultrasound to show his mom. He said...well the first ultrasound isnt really a big deal, the baby is small and you'll see the heartbeat flutters..and i just wanted to say...do you have any idea how LONG we have waited for this moment! It's a pretty big deal! To them it's just another day in the office. To them, I'm just another common pregnancy! It's a busy day already...two new houses came on the market last night so we're trying to squeeze in some showings before he has to come back into town at 2:30. I have to work, but I told him if he liked either one to make an offer! We are starting to get nervous, our lease is about up!

Had our scan! They were running 30 minutes late and it was torture holding my bladder! No one ever tells you about that part! Baby was perfect! Measured exactly 7 weeks and heard the heartbeat! 172 bpm :) everything was formed perfectly. We are SO blessed!

Thank you so much!! It was an emotional thing seeing that little flickering heart on the screen! I'm sure you'd agree! I go to the dr again march 15. They said they might not do another scan till I was 25 weeks if everything progresses normally. That seems so far away!

Sarah congratulations on your baby boy! How is he getting on? I had a little boy, Jamie on September 3rd, hes perfect! Love the name, Benjamin is also the name of my husband!xx
